ok, right now i'm having a very intense conversation with a friend of mine. and i can predict after the convo is over, we'll no longer be friends. i am very conflicted right now. i'm not sure what to do! we've been in this position before but his words are cutting into me deeper than before. i don't even know why i'm posting this, maybe to distract myself but this is going to end badly, no matter what way i look at it. :(

i had nothing to contribute to this thread until a second ago i read something somewhere and yeah. turning 10 was huge - the whole 2 digit thing turning 13 was big - becoming a teenager .. 16 was even bigger - sweet 16 and all that. 18 was great - passing over the teen stage and merging as an adult 20 was momentus - entering the 20s, no longer a teen and having all these responsibilities pressed upon me by law that i really don't care about. but all that aside, time is constant and everyone is getting older by the minute...by the minute...this minute, you are older than a minute ago...i've exhausted this point. but yes, i don't care about getting older because it's going to happen no matter how much i don't/do want it to, just as long as i stay the same, like i don't actually consciously change just because i'm "getting older" age is just a number, a state of mind. hopefully this makes sense, it's kinda all over the place.

last week, visiting the varous beaches that surround my place. i use to be really into bike riding but i've gone back to tennis once again.

try again/keane it's raining and freezing here so the mood is ideal for music. makes me wanna run down a hill all carefree-like.

man in the iron mask. i caught in on tv the other day. such a good movie despite seeing it many many times. my dad does a running commentry every single time we watch it, sometimes it can ruin the mood but yesterday it was really good. 8/10

the BEST xmas gift i've ever recieved was in 2001. i was totally not expecting it because i didn't think we could find it where we were (papua new guinea.) anyway, i am probably the biggest band of brothers fan out there and i knew the gift was a cd but when i opened it, i saw it was the soundtrack of the mini-series. i thanked everyone a thousand times before balling my eyes out and getting all emotional. never felt that way about a gift since lol. no one understands my beloved connection with it and no one will, but that was an amazing gift, very sentimental.

oh everywhere. my dad use to work for the airlines so i've been around the world a few times, but never to africa or central europe. i've always wanted to go to austria, switzerland and spain.

i will :smug: i give myself xmas day to new years to eat whatever i want, and i am taking full advantage of the 8 days! :lol:

aw well you're lucky to travel there. recently i've been getting increasingly restless with my current surroundings. i feel like any moment, with enough money and the perfect amount of inspiration, i'm going to take off and travel to the other side of the world. seriously needing a change of scenery from the tropics. what part of france btw?

today, like last year, has been one big christmas feast at my house. my mum was up till midnight preparing food fit for a bloody kingdom - there is only the 4 of us - but it really was deeeeelicious! but goodness...there is just so much food! - roast lamb - roast pork 4 x filo dishes...yum! - steamed blackberry pudding w/ ice cream ... so much food ... must eat !

yeah, it's good though. i rather people spending xmas skiing or going and and having fun in the real world than on the net all xmas day. anyway, i've never been to france so be sure to take pics!

i've been really getting into the spirit this year. yaaaaaaaay seriously loving this time of the year! family, friends, presents, music, food especially ... and just all around togetherness-like. today was great! the family have been laughing about the most ridiculous things, then laughing at our laughing at the ridiculous things, then getting off topic and forgetting what we were laughing about, then laughing some more. it's been fun! can't wait for new years eve ... CELEBRATE!

have fun in skiiing in france anna! you'll have a great time but i'll wish you a fun trip anyway. i think the board will get a little quiet over the next few days so you shouldn't miss too much :nice:
