I hate this. Can't I read a book without someone being gay in it? I want to read about NORMAL people. Thank God that Rowling wasn't explicit about that relationship. I would have hurled all over the book and sent it back to her. Kids don't need to read about that.

Another thing is, that video... Uuummmm...when we went to Iraq, we aired on all our radio stations 3 months before we went that we were looking for WMDs. All an Al Queda guy had to do was tune in to our radio and know our entire plan! Three months is PLENTY of time to hide missiles and bombs. Liberals set up the traps so as to ensure defeat. It's how their politics work. They filter the truth from what they wanna hear. Just recently, General Patraus (spelling?) presented chart, graphs, handouts, back-breaking research and told a room full of Liberals what is going on in Iraq. Y'know what Hellary said? "We obviously can't believe you because you're only telling us what the president wants you to say." (paraphrase but I got the main point across) He just presented everything! Alot of the news was good and they still don't wanna hear the truth! They only wanna hear what corresponds with their views. Tell me now that Bush and his staff are lying. Impeach Bush? For what? Does this idiot even know what impeach means?

Bravo Gazebo. I've heard the same thing and I agree with you. Frankly, I don't watch any TV nowadays because the sitcoms aren't funny, their humor is dry, they're so archetypal, and they insult my intelligence. Any "drama" is ful of sexual crap that I don't want to see. It detracts from the story! No one wants to see if they end up together or not! It's all scripted anyway and the writers wnat to think they have good storytelling and make it painful when they break up. It's not working, dillholes. If the companies are going to entertain us, give us something that gets us to think about some things. Intrigue the mind, not just the heart. American are more than this. Gazebo, I'm learning more and more how to deal with people and I will not let myself be put into the mold. I'll define the mold. However, we are doing it purselves over here so you need not tell us things we already know. How much belief do you think you will gain if a non-American points out everything that's wrong with our nation. Not many people will accept what you have to say on that pretext alone.

300=BEST WAR FLICK EVER! I loved it. Stupid idea to read Gates of Fire before watchig it b/c I was (in my mind mind you) pointing out all the hstorical inaccuracies of it during the movie and I wanted to watch it just to enjoy it. The music I think does it for me. It sets the tone so perfectly. Gerard Butler's just amazing and the end speech was awesome! I've memorized it and I quote it when I can. 10/10 by a landslide

It's kinda funny how often U2 is discussed with Coldplay. Though, aptly so. They are both awesome! How much are tickets if one wants to go? I hope they're gonna do another US tour.

Y'kno when you start legalizing torture in one area, it'll overflow into others. This is dangerous. What if the guy being tortured was being an ass and joking around about a bomb. He would keep telling the authorities that it was a joke and the people wouldn't believe him and he would be tortured anyway. This will get bad if it is allowed.

Some of those r rilly wierd. The skeletons making out was colorful but kinda pointless. The skull eye and the infinity gold eye was just freaky!

I'd say 7. I'm a fan of fast rock. Like AAR or Hawk Nelson. Coldplay is good relaxation music or just good music for an emotional part of a movie. I'm currently writing a screenplay for one. The end features Fix You. My fav Coldplay song eva!

Okay, at the end of Fix You when the elec. guitar comes in what two notes are being played? I can't figure it out? Also when the acoustic comes in when he starts singing "and the tears come streaming down your face" what notes are those?

OKAY! Off of the black and white discussion. Ask the politicians and other leaders. I can't answer that for you. Though, you have a piont w/ the PDA. It also gets on my nerves. Yes. But u guys are missing the point! It's wrong to be gay in my view, yes, but to give them special rights is wrong! The thing that makes me madder than anything is that the gays GET special rights. "All men are created equal" to quote the Declaration of Independance and instilling special "rights" to some people but not others is completely unfair! I don't believe no one thinks this unfair! No one is getting my point for this thread. I couldn't give a crap what people think about gays. I could have guessed half the responses. I just wanted people to see the unjustness of these laws. Give me a break! The only thing wrong with the books is how people use them. People try to ban "offensive material" but the only thing being offensive is the way people use them. The reason kida are "casting spells" on other students is because they haven't been told that HP isn't real! Some of these kids have a choice to take it too far and they make bad ones. am well aware that not everyone shares my belief. Do y' think I'm stupid or sumthin? I'm not that ignorant. The way I think is that gayness is disgusting and I kno for a fact that there are others who feel the same way "Christian or not". But that's my point. Times HAVE changed and gayness is still looked down upon. I will state my question again: If gayness is so normal, then why are alot of people disgusted by it even though as you say "times have changed." It's NOT truly normal. But as the guy with the polo shirt avatar said (sorry couldn't remeber yer name) says beliefs being shoved down people's throat is not heaalthy and not right! That's exactly what this law is doing! It's forcing churches to change their beleifs about gays and you ALL kno that's not right! What our Christian conscience and every fiber in our being says is that gayness is a sin and not what God intended. Gayness is NOT perfectly normal. But you are right about one thing, brandon. Slandering gays is wrong. Frankly, slandering anyone is wrong but people still do it...to EVERYONE. The Christian church preaches against gays for a reason. Yes, the Constitution does give rights to everyone but in the Declaration of Independance, it says that all men are CREATED EQUAL! No special rights should be given to any one group unless you are prepared to give other people special rights. I wish Christians would stop being taken in the minority! Oh sure gays will whine and say "We are normal and should be treated as equals" but when it comes to us Christians, when we make the same plea, Congress doesn't give a crap! You foget one thing, brandon. Freedom of religion also includes being able to preach what you believe. We should be able to believe what we believe without oppression! WHY?! Whay does this happen? All men are created equal but gays lower THEMSELVES. THEY'RE the ones who are gay. THEY'RE the ones who made that decision to be gay. Thus, they shot THEMSELVES in the foot. Gayness shouldn't be treated as normal because it ISN'T normal. If it is so normal, why wasn't it taught in the sixtees? Or even any time in the past before now? If it's so normal, how come people are disgusted when they see two gay men holding hands? If it's so normal, how come people have a voice in their conscience that tells them otherwise? If gayness was truly normal, then no one would find fault with it. I'm not talking about just Christians now. I've met people who do not share my beliefs and they beleive it to be wrong. Answer those questions for me and then your argument might defend itself.

Okay. Who finds fault with this? I do. A new law has been passed that homosexuality is to be tought as a normal alternate lifestyle in schools and no one is allowed to slander gays and a church that preaches against gays is subject to lawsuit by the ACLU. They will also do no construction or repair for them. People, this is wrong! This law is a DIRECT violation of the free speech amendment. What is in Congress's head? They can't pass this law. We can say and preach what we SEE FIT! That's the freedom of being in this country! I'm sorry if anyone in this forum is gay and is offended by my statement but I for one am NOT going to pull a Liberal and not be so scared of people's opinion and not stand what I kno to be morally right. Please "tolerate" me as we have been forced to tolerate you. People of coldplaying.com, please write to Washington or Congress or whatever you see fit and tell them the illegality of this law. Put yourselves in the Christian's place and see how unjust this is. This man is fuming!
