Heh in translation: I highly recommend you go to their concert in Bologna because the songs are so different live, so full of life and emotion.

Heh, to be honest;) , it was so great and so loud and Coldplay were really fantastic, all the songs, doesn't matter if the setlist's the same for a long time now, are just buzzing...I can understand now how all of you feel when you go to their concert, it's absolutely thrilling because you know they will give it their all even if it's a bad day for them, but they seemed very pleased to be in Wien (Vienna) and quite relaxed. The whole arena Stadthalle isn't this big compared to the big ones in UK or in USA, but that's why the whole crowd were like one, it felt more intimate, even when they appeared at the the back, the crowd was like "whooooaahh"! I would love to see them performing here again, because it's the closest venue to where I live, and I don't see them performing in Slovenia..hope they do another European tour in 2009, but how likely is that? Especially at the timing of the LP5..

No problem, it was so fantastic I had to write something about it;) Amazing show. Oh Chris also changed a line in Politik, "20000 Austrians watching us"!

The setlist as following: Life In Technicolor Violet Hill Clocks In My Place Speed Of Sound Cemeteries Of London Chinese Sleep Chant 42 Fix You Strawberry Swing God Put A Smile Upon Your Face (techno version) Talk (piano version) The Hardest Part (Chris alone at the piano) Postcards From Far Away (piano instrumental) Viva La Vida Lost! The Scientist (acoustic - at the back, where nobody expected them) Death Will Never Conquer (Will singing) Viva La Vida (remix interlude) ------ Politik Lovers In Japan Death And All His Friends Encore: Yellow This was, I have to say, the best concert I've ever gone to. For starters, Albert Hammond Jr was terrific as the supporting act, he had some very good rock songs, couldn't really hear what he was singing about but obviously it didn't matter! After then half an hour after AHJ, we heard a familiar melody! "An der schönen blauen Donau" by Johann Strauss II, the crowd obviously went crazy! And right at the end of that song, Coldplay came to the stage. It was just totally amazing! They played really fast through LIT, Violet Hill (with a bit of alternative ending, Chris just wouldn't stop singing "if you love me, won't you let me know" - it's probably because we didn't want him to stop! As they went into 'Clocks' we saw some of the most fantastic lightshow ever, with a giant magic sphere just adding up to what was already a great performance. And then Chris came in front and said "Guten Abend, meine Freunde". The crowd went wooooow! He continued: "Wir sind sehr, how could I put this, I'm sorry, my german's shit, wir sind sehr glucklich in Wien zu sein" /(very honoured to be here) Typical Chris, as the crowd went crazy! As they went through In My Place, Speed Of Sound, Cemeteries Of London, Chinese Sleep Chant, 42, Fix You (again at the end, Chris just wouldn't stop singing 'and I will try to fix you', he repeated that many times) and Strawberry Swing there were some brilliant effects! As they went to the B-stage, which was really not far away from A-stage to be honest, we left the grandstand, and then sneaked through another entrance, so we were like a few meters away from Chris' piano! Phenomenal to say at least, we were jumping like maniacs by the time Viva La Vida had started. After its end, we were just doing 'whoooaaahh, whoooaah' for more than 2 mins, I'm sure of it! Lost! was so heavy that the floor started to vibrate, and I at that point even wasn't close to the A-stage! Really amazing! The Scientist was an acoustic version, they dissapeared from the A-stage and ended in the back with the crowd on the grandstand. They sang that and "Death will never conquer" by the best 'sportsman' Will Champion and returned for Politik and Lovers in Japan - again huge confetti, I got some of those, really amazing. Death and all his friends was a marvellous version, a bit heavier than usual, and it looked as if the crowd knew each and every word of it! They said bye at the end of it, and returned for Yellow, which was heavy, rock, fantastic whatever you want to call it. I just wanted to let you know my feelings about it and think that's about the best thing you can see today. There's no way to better Coldplay's concert. Truly great. :) http://ondemand.orf.at/zib/player.php?id=zib24&day=2008-09-24 - click Coldplay Gast In Wien and there's some short video!

Hmm, I'm at the Ost (East) tribune, hope it's ok, the whole standing crowd is between me and the stage, wondering where's the b-stage then?

Hey, where's the B-stage in Stadthalle? Is it already known?

I'm going and a lot of my friends are, too. I can't wait though I've got a seat on Osttribune (row 8) so I just hope we'll get a decent view! Mabye B-stage will be closer than A-stage to us...ah well, maybe they'll debut 'Glass Of Water' in Vienna? How cool would that be!

Is anyone having trouble with coldplay.com?
I think they are updating it, maybe they'll add the lyrics everybody's waiting for! And maybe another mp3 to download for free.. aaah I'm pushing it:D

[FAKE FAKE FAKE] REVIEW: Prospekt's March EP
I think the songs like Glass of Water, Famous Old Painters, Poppy Fields will definitely be there. Maybe even Lukas or even Postcards From Far Away. Somehow I don't feel we'll be hearing Lhuna any time soon, maybe on the LP5..

[FAKE FAKE FAKE] REVIEW: Prospekt's March EP
Maybe it's not an EP, it's possibly just a random collection of b-sides that he now has..it seems nigh on impossible that Coldplay would decide in a week what'll be on it!

[FAKE FAKE FAKE] REVIEW: Prospekt's March EP
If he's got it, he's definitely not the only one. Leaks happen all the time, so this comes to no exception, especially as the songs are Viva's leftovers. I'm sure if this guy doesn't upload them, someone very soon will. So either it's all a joke or we'll be soon back on http://www.justintimberlakeforum.net ! :D

[FAKE FAKE FAKE] REVIEW: Prospekt's March EP
Hmm, what if you post some more lyrics for Glass Of Water so we'll know for sure you've got it? I think some of the 'Glass Of Water' lyrics were on the big 'puzzle' for Brixton and MSG free concerts, here: http://www.coldplay.com/brixton/ So, could you post some of it here?;) And if you ever change your mind, go to http://www.justintimberlakeforum.net , they won't know what hit them - again!:D

Bucket For A Crown
I think he meant '42' , it's one of the best new songs, won't be a single, isn't that commercial and it's constructed into 3 separate parts. I think it's either 42 or Viva La Vida.
-
Bucket For A Crown
Hmmm..I think not. The part "I don't wanna be a captain of a sinking ship" progressed into a line in Violet Hill, but that's about it. Chris only said at the time that he wrote the song a day before the live performance, so it wasn't (I would think) ever really considered to be on the album. Although I would be sooo happy if it ever came out as a b-side studio version!!:D:shocked2:

What song should be the next coldplay's single?
I'd have to say Strawberry Swing, it's fantastic, although I think Yes would be a good single...I'm ok with everything as long as we get a new b side yeaah! :D

Tokyo SHOW
With no disrespect to Radiohead, I didn't like their album In Rainbows. I'm not the sort of guy to like too much experimentation in music. What are you pointing out? Coldplay do things they love the most, which is perform live and do some great albums. How many bands are capable of that while still maintaining huge popularity and being so sincere and honest? I love Coldplay live, can't wait to see them in Vienna this year, they're great, the album's really good and if you don't like Coldplay post you can still post anything in justintimberlakeforum.com I think! There's a special section for Coldplay fans there! ;) :D

This is just amazing, with Chris singing No One lyrics from Alicia's latest album. Great performance and a pro shot, great. :)

09-Aug-08: Osaka - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
I'd just love to know what he's singing at the end of Clocks, I've googled a bit and I'm sure those are lyrics from either Alicia's song or someone else's, surely, "No more, waiting for you, no more, could be I'm waiting for a few, for you?" or something like that, I'm shit at hearing Chris' lyrics right!:D

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aap-X9-Sg-k The performance with Alicia Keys, sorry if it's been posted already! Funny when Chris introduces Alicia he says: "Please welcome the most beautiful woman on the planet except my wife":D

Viva La vida to be released as CD-Single + Bonus Track
Well, it's friday. Anyone got it?:)

Viva La vida to be released as CD-Single + Bonus Track
There's probably someone on this forum who's pre-ordered it. I don't think for one second that it could be two practically the same versions of VLV. It can be 'Death Will Never Conquer' or something different, so fingers crossed:D, I can't wait to hear a new track yeah!:D

[12 Jul 08] Chris Martin @ GRAMMY Foundations Starry Night Honoring Sir George Martin
I'm sure Chris must have felt like being in a kindergarten, sharing the same table with the legendary Sir George Martin who's worked with The Beatles which are still a big inspiration and obviously number one band of all times for Coldplay.
