This song is just great, I think it's refreshing to hear something new anyway, but if it had been a bad song we would have noticed. If Viva La Vida... is going to sound anything like this, it's going to be such a classic, surpassing AROBTTH almost defintiely. But hey, just IMO:D

I'm so happy that we'll get to hear new melodies and lyrics! And we'll probably have quite a good picture of where the album's heading (sound-wise). Thankfully I've got school until 1pm, so I'll just run home at the speed of sound:D to hear it! Hopefully the coldplay servers will manage the situation..

I think it could do something with their 10th anniversary; maybe an Unplugged album..imagine that.. but seriously.. the big news could be that they are going to release a B-sides compilation right after Viva La Vida..or a DVD from Toronto/Latin America, I doubt that they're playing Glastonbury very much...

Coldplay have been just amazingly protective with this..it's like they want the whole world to wait for the song and the album. J do hope we get something ( a star on coldplay.com or any info) soon, because it's my birthday on sunday and there would be no better present than Violet Hill!:D

Heh welcome first;) A Message is a great song..I always think of driving around Calais-Dover when I hear that song. I don't know why, it has that countryside-esque effect for me.. lovely song, I think a video from a live concert was made in France.

I think, basically you can't just do something completely different than X&Y or Rush of blood..or Parachutes. It's still good music. Remember that a lot of great bands greatly transformed themselves during their careers, so I think we'll see a progress (by which I mean african -asian-or whatever influence, looking at other direction, Eno-esque maybe). But then again, Reign Of Love is piano based, many songs that haven't been specifically mentioned are likely to end up Coldplay-esque. So don't worry, just be happy that Coldplay are releasing this new album. What a great fun will this summer be.;)

The hidden song is what they've done before on Parachutes (Life is For LIving) and X&Y /('Til Kingdom Come). ps.This has been a great day so far!

Haha it's amazing. I hope Viva La Vida title is kept, I've gotten used to it, it's great. What did I tell you that there's going to be a song called Viva La Vida!!! :D:P

I think my favourite part has to be the end of 'Clocks'("You...are..home, home, where I wanted to go"), I just think it's an amazing climax..it's if he was screaming for rescue. But Fix You ending is a strong second on my list.

I can't see it being downloaded. The file just won't download. It's always 'idle'. I think it may all be some trick, because some time ago, I downloaded 'Yes', and it wasn't really it, just some spanish song. But Coldplay could release a single before the actual album release date; they've done that with X&Y ('Speed of sound' arrived in may if I remember correctly). I think the best way to get a song soon is to see The Escapist and maybe get a glimpse of what Coldplay will offer us in June...

Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know NOT TO GET TOO EXCITED. A leak more than 2 months before the official release is probably unrealistic. Even though there are songs like Famous Old Painters etc. on the Ares or Limewire networks, I can't seem to download them either. But just imagine if it isn't a hoax!! :o

Heh, I've posted so little on the forum, but here's my reply. First of all, Coldplay are one of the most acclaimed rock bands right now. Ok, X&Y maybe went too commercial, but it was still very good. I'm of opinion that all bands sometimes go through a rough patch - X&Y was maybe not critics' lover, but it was still the bestseller, so that tells you something of Coldplay's wide popularity. I think if you're a true Coldplay fan, you respect every album in a certain way. Certainly, A Rush Of Blood To The Head was a great album, but a lot of people feel Parachutes was their best..people have got their opinion, you can't change that. I like Coldplay because they're gifted, they write lovely melodies, sometimes with complex lyrics, sometimes with a great sense for simplicity. They're not pretending to be somebody, they do what they love and this is what I aspire to do in my life too. + they're really sympathetic to the fans!

I'd be delighted if one of those 20 tracks chosen for the album would be Bucket for a crown. :)

Well, we're gonna have to wait, after all they'll be touring for the next 2 years probably, and that's exhausting enough. We all have holidays, why shouldn't coldplay. And what's this about treating fans unfairly, they're posting old and new stuff every week, I mean come on...what group does that? I can't think of any...
