Coldplay Youtube Videos
VIDEOS GALLORE Hahaha! I was on the 10th page of this thread and two videos came on at the same time! They turned out to be "Speed Of Sound" and "The Scientist" but I thought that someone had found a NEW Coldplay song and posted it! :D They sure sounded funky played simultaneously. :dozey: _______________________________________ Here's 2 additions to the really cool vid list = COLDPLAY Performing the lovely "Green Eyes" in Buenos Aires. Very sweet! CHRIS MARTIN Speaking French at Awards Ceremony for Bob Geldof http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgtSJsTvKVk ^^^^ I am learning French so I thought it was cool to have Chris as an inspiration to continue learning the language! THANKS EVERYONE FOR SHARING YOUR VIDS!!!! *Also, thanks to Coldplaying.com for continuing to have meaningful & kind moderators and fans who spread their love of Coldplay! (On the Coldplay.com forum, there were too many mean people who picked on everyone, including the band itself ALL THE TIME! There were/are sooo many trolls... It was ridiculous!)* ~*Thanks!*~ Keep spreading the Coldplay Love!

Picking On Coldplay Hahaha! Great idea! I do remember seeing the hilarious pic with the boys sitting and reading the newspapers with the phonie news! *checks computer folder of the bizillions of Coldplay pics and finds pic* *Runs to printer* I shall print this out and calmly wave it in the faces of the "sad-people-who-don't-enjoy-Coldplay's-music-and-mock-those-who-do-because- they-have-nothing-better-to-do-with-their-time! :dozey: Thanks TracieMorgan ! :) (This shall further my Coldplay Obsession that scares people at school! :square: ) ^^^^ Yeah, very true!

do you ever get made fun of for liking coldplay?
Picking on Coldplay Thank you for making this thread mrcool011 because I again realize just how cool COLDPLAY are. . . . for the fact that the people who appreciate COLDPLAY's music are respectful of the musical genres that are liked by others. :) That right there shows how different the band and their fans really are. I, along with others who posted, also face this problem at school and have had a fair share of Coldplay jives (especially this one kid who mocks "Yellow" :( ), along with "Coldplay are gay" & "Coldplay broke up!" <<<< that one aggrivates me soooo much! :mean: but I will stay strong and forever supportive of the music of COLDPLAY! P.S. = Everyone who has friends who like/love Coldplay, you are VERY lucky people! :D

Ask Chris Martin A Question
Ask Chris A Question Hi Chris! :) Hope all is well! When you or Jonny, Will, & Guy are performing live, do you guys feel as if you're in another world (or state of mind) because of the surreal beauty of your music? P.S. = Music can bring us to other outerworldly places within our hearts, minds, and souls can it not? Emily or ColdplayBirdsFly

How far have you gone to see a Coldplay concert?
The Distance for Coldplay I didn't go that far really (as far as some other really road-hardy and devoted people have gone :stunned:) = 56 miles (one way) to Manchester, NH - 4/3/06 concert 51 miles (one way) to Mansfield, MA - 8/6/05 concert Wow, it's so great to see how devoted we COLDPLAY fans are!!!! :) We COLDPLAY fans really are the best people! :D *BTW, im4dadevils I noticed that your sig. says you caught one of Chris' tape rings. That is sooooo awesome! If you read this, you wouldn't mind sharing your concert experience would you? I'm curious to know how you were able to catch it and what it's like (I made some rings out of electrical tape cause I believe that is what Chris uses. . . . :dozey: ) but well, what is the ring like? <<<< sorry if I sound a bit odd asking this :D And Texasluvsjonny, my goodness you went soooo far for some of those concerts!!!! :shocked2: WOW, I mean from Texas to London... that is far! (you're very lucky to have gone to "Coldplay territory" *a.k.a. England*. I wonder if people "across the pond" have more Coldplay enthusiam than over here in the states....) EDIT: To im4dadevils Thanks for sharing your story! HAHAHA Holy Moly, Hell's Angles biker dudes LIKE Coldplay?! Now I've heard everything. And your (2x dammits) hahaha the fat lady wrestling for the camera. and *Nods* you have made an Altar for the yellow ring.... I completely understand ^___^ Thanks again!

Random Coldplay Thoughts ^^^^ Yeah that's pretty weird seeing her everywhere! Must have been funny seeing magazines that said stuff about her and Chris when you already know what happens. Just a random question (should fit in with this thread) but has anyone actually counted the number of Coldplay related pictures stored on their computer/laptop? :stunned: :shocked2: I did, and the number is pretty scary = around 2,240 !!!! :D hehehe . . . . coldplay books....
Coldplay Books Well if you guys are from Antarctica, it's going to be a little tough. :shocked2: I'm guessing you're joking though, right? :D Hmmm.... well, I got the books online from Amazon.com. You could try book stores and if they're not there I guess you could ask the cashier/worker people to order it for you! ;)

coldplay books....
Oh I see what you mean. :bulb2: No, no nothing bad happened to them, it was just the author, Gary Spivack, was fired and couldn't really work nearby Coldplay anymore. That was the "bitter" part, but then Chris said a "sweet" thing, something like "Maybe we'll still get to work together, maybe it's in the stars." Sorry for the misunderstanding. :sweatdrop:

Ask Chris Martin A Question
Hahahaha, good one! :D It's crazy some of the people you see at Coldplay's concerts. . . .:stunned:

coldplay books....
Coldplay Books ^^^^ Hahahaha, yeah The Scientist Man, the BEST Books have to be the tabulature ones (piano, guitar, etc...)! :D Their so full of Coldplay & their music! Better than biographies! Hmmm.... well, I do see your point, lots of Chris quotes and errors (and yes, everytime I saw "Politik" and "Will" Champion's name spelled wrong, it made me twitch) :annoyed: But, Chris just happens to be the main focal point of Coldplay, whether he or anyone else likes it or not. So, it's only natural for there to be more stuff on him. I guess I was comparing this book to the other one (O'brien's) and this one was the better of the two. The pictures in Spivack's book were nice though.... But I do wish that there was a book that covered each member more equally = Oh, if you think Spivack's book is a "bore", then you might not like O'brien's book since it basically totally focuses on Chris (perhaps not in the first couple chapters, but later on it is practically ALL Chris and it gets annoyingly full of gossipy stuff, which is . . . . blahhhhh).:blank: Why can't they? Eh, everyone has different opinions, but that's what makes the world interesting does it not? ;)

Coldplay Moment Nothing biggly funny, but I was reading the book The Hobbit and one of the chapters was "The Clouds Burst". My mind started singing . . . . "To show Day... Light." :)

Ask Chris Martin A Question
Answer To A Question I hope I'm not spoiling your question by giving the answer . . . . :\ But, you can make Chris' clever little tape rings out of Electrical Tape. You can find the tape at a supply store (ex: Staples or Home Depot). You just wrap it around your fingers . . . . And the tape comes in all different colours too! :D

coldplay books....
Coldplay Books Let's see, I've got Look At The Stars by: Gary Spivack & Look At The Stars by: Phil O'brien. Spivack's book is (as previously said) more focused on the overall band members of Coldplay. It gives a more personal feel and it also has some nice pictures and a bittersweet ending. :) The Phil O'brien book starts off pretty interesting (as she writes with a very unique spark in her descriptions) but it gets kinda side-tracked and focuses mainly on Chris and his saunter into the spotlight and stuff. I've heard of a book called Coldplay: In Our Words by: Kevin Westinberg and the When Will We Be Kings book by: Martin Roach, but have no idea what either are like. Hope you like the When Will We Be Kings book twistedCLOCKS ;) If you finish, you wouldn't mind sharing your opinion on it would you . . . . :D :sweatdrop:

Jonny Eyes Really cool pic. Texasluvsjonny!!!! And yeah, I know what you mean. . . . all I can think of when staring into those green orbs is "Darling those tired eyes, go with me all the time ..." (I Bloom Blaum) or "Green eyes, you're the one that I wanted to find..." (Green Eyes) :drunk: :nice: :wideeyed: And has anyone seen this pic? I think he was really young! Aww.... :shy:

Ask Chris Martin A Question
Ask Chris a Question! A Big "Hello!" to Chris! :) Thank you four guys so much for expressing your passion through music, as it has uplifted so many souls. I hope you and Jonny, Will, & Guy are having a nice loooooong break. Your fans are eagerly anticipating the creation of a fourth album, but take your time (even if a 4th one never is born, we'll still love you guys. Sorry if that sounds dorky :smart: ) . Music & creativity are both things that should never be forced and you guys have sincerely maintained a positive attitude that shines through in your luscious music. (yes, weird adjective choice :P ) THANK YOU! Your Mansfield, MA (August 6th, 2005) & Manchester, NH (April 3rd, 2006) concerts were both spectacular!!!! Random P.S. Chris = Your tape rings, are genius! :D Also, Loved the Christmas Dance Message! Anyway, question/s = 1. Based on some interviews (and the end to "Amsterdam" on the brillant Live 2003 DVD) I assume you're a HUGE Chocolate fan! :dozey: (me too! ). Well, my question is: Have you ever gotten the chance to swim in chocolate? *drool* 2. Umm. . . . how do I put this: Is there any way you guys could give music lessons, maybe Jonny could help me tweak up my guitar skills? Hahaha, just kidding! Hope that didn't scare you, but you've probably heard weirder. 3.(Last one, I promise) Do the Time Zone changes affect you or the band at all (lack of sleep, maybe) since you guys travel across countries and states ? ? ? ? *Sorry to bore you with all these questions* But thanks for answering or not answering. Well, Good Luck with . . . . everything! = ~* THANK YOU COLDPLAY *~ = Emily known as ColdplayBirdsFly

THE AMAZING JONNY THREAD!!!! Hahahaha! Wow this thread does rock! Super cute pics everyone! Thanks for sharing! ;) Hey look = Men In Scarves! LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW! :p Hahaha, they're playing in the cold! :D- A question about chris martins' stage/studio gear
Piano Do you mean this picture? *sorry, it's kinda big* (If that's the right one) I'm sorry but I've no idea what type of piano/keyboard that is. Looks very spiffy though. If I find any info. on it, I'll let you know. :)- A question about chris martins' stage/studio gear
Chris' Piano! http://www.swiftmusic.co.uk/search.php?make=Yamaha&type=d_piano Wow . . . . it's the second piano down the list. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's about $6,800 American dollars! :shocked2:- The Coldplay Merry Christmas vid.
Railways: Secret Meaning ? Hmmm . . . . interesting notions. I never thought that "railways will be big in the future" could be a hidden message referring to a possible album title! :shocked2: Seems a bit unlikely though. "The future's for discovering . . . ." ;) And Yesiree, Coldplay are indeed very clever! Who knows what they're planning . . . .- Say Bye To Black Uniforms
Ditto! Well said! :) - The Buckland Religion~Official Thread
