Subtleties in Coldplay Songs ^ Yup, pretty sure it is a harmonica! They have one in the live version at least. Also, I just love how if you listen real hard, you can hear Jonny's rusty voice in the 2nd verse of "Don't Panic" and then his (hilarious) monotone:D voice during the bridge of "Fix You" And on A LOT of tracks Will does some of the high-pitched vocals/backing vocals (Amsterdam, Yellow, White Shadows, Everything's Not Lost... just to name a few off the top of my head)

The Sounds Of Coldplay ^ Yes, that's such surreal sound! :cool: ^ Hahahha! I love that. Whenever listening to "Help is Round the Corner" I always turn up the volume at the end to hear the cars for some reason. It just cracks me up...:D "Murder" - What is that Tribal "aaah" at the beginning? Anyway, Chris says something at 2:24 in the song that almost sounds like "That's why all the Mafia..." "The Hardest Part" - near the end with Jonny's arpeggio riff and Chris singing "yeah that's the hardest part" if you turn up the volume with GOOD headphones, you can hear the high-pitched squeak which is probably the plucking of Jonny's guitar's strings with his pick. "'Til Kingdom Come" - at the end you can hear the shuffling of instruments or people. "Amsterdam" - During this and many of the songs you can hear Chris breathe. Couldn't agree with you more! ;)

"Shiver" Pedals ^ Yes, I believe both the Vintage Pro Co Rat Distortion and the Boss Rv-3 (not 5) Digital Delay/Reverb pedal make the unique sound in "Shiver". (I have a Boss Rv-3 and it sounds sooooo awesome! Very space-washy! :)) This is a picture of the Boss Rv-3 Pedal (It's grey/black) This is the Pro Co Rat Distortion Pedal (It's probably the Black one you're talking about) And this site illustrates Jonny's pedals pretty well - Just go to "FX" http://www.whataboutjonbuckland.tk/ EDIT = Yeah, pretty much, if you want to get Jonny's "sound" then you're going to have to spend a lot of money.... But you can still get a similar sound with what you have.

The mystery of Prospekt ^ Yeah it cannot be Jonny. Quickie Handwriting Analysis = Jonny's writing Prospekt's writing * Jonny's "The" has connected letters and is messier than Prospekt's. The latter has fancy writing! (No offense Jonny) :D Jonny's Writing Prospekt's Writing * The "d's" are different. Note how Jonny's letters are connected while Prospekt's are not. Yup, I have way too much time on my hands.....;)

Coldplay copied? I think not. Wow, the two songs aren't even the same notes... Vegetarians ^ Yay for you xim! :) I'm also a vegetarian, and have been for some 3 years. *Coldplay have made me feel proud to be a Vegetarian! :cool: * (but were not the reason for becoming one.) So, as many of us have heard, some people consider themselves vegetarians yet they eat fish... well, I have a bunch of Pet Aquarium fish. Their little bulging eyes are actually very endearing so it would be hard to know that I'm eating a relative of them (but I don't like the smell or taste of fish anyway.... :P) but everyone, go ahead eat whatever you want. It's your life/food preference ....

4th Album Journal Entry ^ Haha, it's alright. Well, "Leftrightleftrightleft" sounds interesting (as I'm thoroughly fascinated with opposites, like Chris, and especially handedness and all that stuff :P) And "Cemeteries of London" sounds melancholy yet intriguing. Guess we shouldn't really judge their new album already just based on the song names anyway.... Still, I find it hard to believe that the album might be roughly the same length as "Parachutes" (41 - 42 minutes). But with Coldplay it's quality and not quantity that matters.... Ah! I can't wait! :)

Clocks Ending Guitar ^ Ah, yes that's better. .... I thought my version sounded a bit simple as well. Upon watching a live show of "Clocks" more closely, it can be seen that Jonny is indeed playing the 5th string like Puzzling's tab. Puzzling, your version is very correct. Thanks again! :cool:

Politik Outro Chords Oo! I know what Chris' playing in the live outro. Actually, I had to figure it out by listening to the song since those chords are only on the live version of "Politik". The left hand plays Fm on the low octive at the same time. In a high octive with right hand, play both notes at the same time for 2 measures = C & Ab And then = C & G (So you switch back and forth between those for a couple measures.) At the very end, with your right hand, you play descending: C & Ab, C & G, C & F continue with single notes of: Eb, C, Ab, and finally an Fm chord Sorry if this is confusing, it's hard to explain, but easy to play..... :\

Yellow! Oh Wow! When I tried watching the video before, it played the "Speed Of Sound" video. Now it plays that inside-the-scoop of the "Yellow" balloons video. That was so sweet! :cool: I absolutely LOVE these two pictures/moments of the video. When there's One Yellow Ballon randomly in the midst of all those seats.... And the end where Jonny pops a balloon with Will's drum stick (there's a little tinkling of the piano at that exact moment) ^ Oh and to Palname = the pretty piano version of "Yellow" is here! ;)

2 NEW STARS There's TWO new stars on Coldplay.com.... from Jonny and Guy!! :cool: First Gig in NYC - 16th Feb. 2001 "Chris had a sore throat, but because it was our first gig in New York we didn't want to cancel. Two songs in Chris had completely lost his voice and we had to get someone from the audience onstage to sing Yellow. After that we had to give up and leave the stage. JMB Balloons.. Sept./05 "We started dropping huge balloons on the audience. They always end up on the stage for Chris to burst. Tempers have been known to fray when the balloons haven't been blown up enough. It's very important to get balloon pressure correct. GB

More Lads or Lasses Like Coldplay? It's hard to say and you can't really judge that based on concerts; there's a lot of variables to consider. Sometimes, when the countdown reaches close to the end (and the music is REALLY fast), then Jonny will just strum the chords instead of doing the riff.

4th Album Suspicions ^ No problem. ;) I could be wrong too, about the album name not being Prospekt. But I remember reading somewhere that Guy hinted that the new album might have 5 words in the name. Then again, he might not know for sure either. And, thanks too!:)
