4th Album Art Work ^ Awesome Idea and artwork PlayingCold! I had actually been contemplating what the band's 4th album artwork might turn out to be, and so I made this. It's basically a compile of the drawings/doodles/writing/ etc that the boys made for their site! :) (P.S. to ariadnasquire = No one really knows what the album is going to be called, but it is believed that "Prospekt" is a nickname for someone close to the band who writes journal entries) ^ This is made with the Paint program, eh, sorry if it's bad... :embarassed:

SSPU ^^^ Yes same here, great song! In fact, Lazy Eye was the first song I'd ever heard from them and it was intriuging enough to make me find out more about the band. ;) Wow, they sold tix faster than Snow Patrol! That's very amazing. Thanks for the news! :cool: (P.S. = Rusted Wheel is also one of my favourites too. Actually, their new album "Carnavas" has one good song after another. :dance:)

Guard Not Recognizing Chris Martin! Hahaha, I second that! :dozey: and yes like ariadnasquire wrote, this also reminded me of the lady bouncer who wouldn't let poor Jonny in! Sad to say that there are actually quite a lot of people who still don't know of Coldplay, let alone Chris! When I went trick-or-treating a few years back, I went as Chris = the rings, clothes, a wig, and all (although I'm a girl :D). But out of the 50 houses I went to, only 5 or so actually knew who Chris Martin/Coldplay was!!! :shocked2: Odd....

Yeah, I figure it will take a number of listens to get used to the band's sound. Even for bands like Coldplay, Athlete, and Snow Patrol, it took me a few listens to like some of their songs. Ironically, those ones are the ones that I favour even more now! :cool: Strange how that works. :nice:

Chris and Rap! Noooo ^ :shocked2::stunned: That is seriously SCARY!!!! yet kinda funny too but, why..... oh why..... did they do that to the song "X&Y" ? :(

Somewhere A Clock Is Ticking ^ That is quite a mean interview. Not a very nice thing to 'diss' another band like that. :\ Well, anyway... On Snow Patrol's "Final Straw" album, I'm quite fond of the song "Somewhere A Clock Is Ticking". It has a great guitar/bassy riff. Anyone else like it? :)

A Rush Of Blood To The Head Tab ^^^^ Wow, Thanks...:) I just looked at the tab again and noticed the chorus is a bit odd, but oh well. Gosh, it took a devil of a time pausing the video and using my guitar to figure out what Jonny was playing. Anyway, you say that you wouldn't have been able to post a month ago. Just curious, but why? :confused:

4th Album Hey, you're welcome Ian! ;) By the way, did the Printscreen thing work for you? Awhisper21 = I know what you mean. Although it's odd that the boys suddenly took an interest to the Internet as a way to connect with fans, it is really amazing that they keep writing personal notes of their own experiences and history. :) As for the 4th album news, (hehe , please don't kill me for saying): we'll just need to have patience, I guess.... grrrr, it's so hard though! :rolleyes3:

New Star - Speed of Sound ^^^ I also noticed the little "x" too in Jonny's entry. Maybe it's just a fluke or something. :confused: caru_Politik = The video works fine for me. Maybe you need different software or something. All the videos require Adobe Flash Player 9 to work. Anyway, there's another new star = :) (love this pic) "Speed of Sound Video - May 23 2005 This video was made for us by Mark Romanek in the same room where a lot of 'Wizard of Oz' was shot. Behind the light screen Mark built was an enormous staircase that we were racing up between takes. (Probably in an effort to slim down - Mani from 'Stone Roses' had seen me with cake a few weeks before and said 'Nobody likes a fat pop star' Chris" Hahaa :lol: Chris sure does eat too much cake. YouTube That's pretty much what I was thinking too. Chris shouldn't let the dumb paparazzi get under his skin too much, but it must be pretty hard to not let it bother you. :\ I was browsing YouTube one day, and I came across a video of Gwyneth just going to her car. There were some 50 (no lie) people with cameras hounding her. She got into her car and instead of running them over, just said "thank you" for moving out of her way and went on with her day. (how she managed that, amazes me! :stunned:) Couldn't agree more with you about the people who forget about the melodies of songs, and focus on zooming up the street at 100 mph with their bass booster stereo rumbling through everybody's houses >>> this comes from personal experience ;). Buddha Lounge Renditions of Coldplay Well, this ought to be interesting! (I'm both scared but kinda intruiged at the prospekt of Chris rapping.... :stunned:) (P.S. I don't like rap either....) Don't Panic - Blue Room EP Yeah, I listened to the first version of "Don't Panic". It sounded a lot darker than the album version, and I sort of remember reading (in one of the Coldplay biographies) that when the boys recorded it they were going through a tough time.... You can kind of hear the trouble in Chris' voice. It's a bit strained and tired sounding. Maybe that's just me though... Hahaha, but Jonny's rusty/wispy voice is more audible in this version than the album one. YaY! :cool: It's an interesting version of a Great song! It's here on YouTube for anyone else who wants to hear it!

Jonathan Ross and Coldplay OMG, I forgot to post the aunt one .... HAHAHA! Chris seems to never runs out of jokes. :dozey: With Chris' wife, I know exactly what you mean. On Conan O'brien she did just that, and happily discussed Apple for a long while. Hahaha, but then Conan admired how she was lucky to be married to someone who can write songs since Chris can come up with knew baby songs while everyone else has to listen to the same old ones... like the ones by Raffie, or the "Hip-Hip-Hopitee song" etc. :D
