  1. Agreed and I know that this isn't the right thread to say it but does Jonny look a lot like that guy who starred in the tv series of Robin Hood on ABC but I think it was a BBC production or what?
  2. Grabs packet of timtams to celebrate! My brother was the guy who introduced me to arobtth and they became my first ever favourite band (not including the Spice Girls)
  3. Sorry, We Will Rock You - Queen
  4. I love this one Cyanide & Happiness @ Explosm.net
  5. I watched at work and it was great BUT the people who aren't familiar with Coldplay keep on asking me why Chris and Guy were so arrogant and snobbish and it's just so hard to explain to them that they're not
  6. Classy. If dear Mr Tim Burton wasn't married to the wonderful Helen Bonham Carter, I would so go there.
  7. Faker - do you really want me to say? I think we can all guess :p
  8. Strangers - Van She
  9. English Do you love Sweeney Todd?
  10. Oh you guys are champions for writing back and you know it is really interesting to see how other countries and nationalities view us but I have to say this AUSTRALIA IS TOO A CONTINENT. Now that that is said, i'm pretty sure you guys are all right about our personality e.g. we are pretty friendly and introduce ourselves to people (yeah we don't need invites either) but what about our natural dislike of authority? Even off duty police officers will challenge authority. I don't mean we do anything horrible. We do stuff like flick our lights to warn other driver that the cops are up ahead or in school if your whole class is threatened to be kept in because you won't say who the culprit was, we'll stay in. I suppose that also intertwines with our mateship. You guys should totally hear some of other war stories, playing cricket in front of the turks. Bloody champions!
  11. me and Jizo speak the language. Haha, Danni, she is barely known. AND I MEAN BARELY. And Steve Irwin I was heart broken. He was a celeb who we could identify with. He represented us. I mean we don't have a range of classes it is really just the working class man - no upper class - no lower class. And Nicole, I don't think she is really that respected but probably more than Kylie but still it's a no.
  12. Sad to say, Australia suffers from a high soapie addict rate and in Australia ow Soapie stars are practically our celebrities and another thing almost every Australian hates Kylie (we/they kind of think she is the fakest Australian ever ** please don't kill me) Unless you are from the city, then it is completely the opposite
  13. ugh that would be horrible if we lived a life like Neighbours!! Then again Chris said he liked neighbours.
  14. I see Chris Resemblance
  15. Wait I don't even know what a cobber is?
  16. Woo, go Cavenow for being brave enough to say it and Carolyn I have to laugh. A lot of Australians are disgusted with Schapelle and personally we're not all that polite, we just pretend to be and then we go back to our little groups and joke around and as Cavenow said we swear, we are very blunt but thankyou guys so much, because there is a lot of stuff that is just umm surprising I suppose. Ripped Shirts, WTF?
  17. So, what was the cover of because I so want to check that out now.
  18. Alright, well I have to do an assignment about Australians and Australia. It is a fairly broad topic, so you can basically say anything you feel like but the main reason why I want to hear your opinions, is because I'm Australian and I don't want to be one-sided. Besides, it would be really interesting to see what you have to say. So, if possible, whatever you post give me a reason too please. Thank you.
  19. Happy Birthday Mr Champion, I give you cyber cake:rolleyes:
  20. Good old Chris
  21. Wow that was super! OMG that little kid was brilliant and the music at the beginning <3
  22. Happy Birthday
  23. I used to dip potato chips in coke and then eat them. I also LOVE TOMATO SAUCE and put it on bread and eat it as a sandwich at lunch
  24. we drive on the left here. I don't think I could drive on the right, I would end up in the gutter or something but then don't people who drive on the right have their steering on the otherside to us?
