oh thanks well I understood 80% of what you said actually, so the amp could help just to distort the sound but I played once a guitar that had a mmmm don't know how to call it, a little stick or switch or something by the volume buttons and stuff and by moving it the sound of the guitar changed so it's not common?? or what?? sorry if I'm annoying you

question: do some electric guitars come with effects already or you really need to buy a pedal???? the only guitars I've seen in person are pretty cheap guitars of some friends and they sound almost like an acoustic without a pedal

Well I'm gonna be very brief since our friend here above me just gave you the large recommendation. I say - Buy an acoustic electric guitar, you budget is not low at all, I wish I had it :P I have an acoustic too and it costed me what would be like $90 and it's a good one. - If you buy a normal acoustic, I suggest you to buy one with thin neck for steel strings if you want good quality and the songs you play to sound like the originals. - Buy picks (you'll find your right picks, I like thin ones), a tunner, a guitar case, a capo and a band or whatever it's called so can you play stood up haha, and if you buy the acoustic electric then you better save for an amp but that can wait for a while. - When you wanna learn a song one of the best ways to go is Ultimateguitar.com or come here and aske for sheets but they will only give you chords, cause guitar tab sheets are hard to finde, there are some here though and I also suggest watching youtube covers, since coldplay is a pretty famous band, there are a lot of covers there

that one of the solos was maed by stephanbass I guess, the official one we don't have it here yet as far as I know, so I'm afraid that you will have to buy it or wait for it to be posted here

yeah just play around with the original chords, try to play them as close as you can to the way Chris does, improvise something, whatever as long as they are the same chords. He also does the same riff of the beggining.

hey have you checked out the other live performances of SP in later with jools holland and the ones in 4 Music??? They performed Crack the shutters open and If there's a rocket tie me to it in both and in jools holland they also played what if the storms ends? They're cool
