Hi I know there's been lots of questions about this but my dad has finally decided to buy me an electric guitar. I'm going to the US in a couple days and I'm hoping I find a guitar I like there. The thing for me is the pedals and that stuff. I would like you to explain to me if it's not too much to ask what's each effect. I've seen pedals of "distortion, sustain, overdrive" and some others. I know what the first is of course butI don't know if those pedals of distotion can be set so that it does not sound like a heavy metal guitar you know to choose a level of distortion. And also I can do this with just the amp right?? so is it worth it if our budget is quite low. Can you tell me an example of a song in which some effects are used so that I could decide? Mainly on electric I would play Snow Patrol, Muse, Coldplay, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Paramore, Green Day, Fall Out Boy. In that order so, what do you suggest? For a start I wanna buy just one pedal and later I will get more but what do you suggest?

I know delicate, elephant, volcano, rootless tree (guitar and piano version), the blower's daughter, 9 crimes on piano, me my yoke and I a little messed up :P and i can play accidental babies but I don't have it memorized. I want to play I Remember, I'll give it another shot. Anyone has accurate complete tab for it??

I tried it once, but since it has lots of variations. All the song has almost the same progression but it varies and I couldn't quite memorize it. It's now kinda boring to me, don't know why. Guess it is for depresion moments :P

Yeah the scene with Thom Yorke'ssong was the best. His song gave an incredible atmosphere to it. Sublime.

Finally Up To Now has arrived, a little late I guess. I had it in my hands!!!! I was like :o but my mom told me we are going to US in a couple weeks and I saw in target's website (or bestbuy) the more expensive Up To Now like Jen said I guess so I decided to wait longer :cry: so that I hopefully get the deluxe version there.

No, they were playing somewhere else but only uprising was broadcasted for the VMA's. I saw their performance of Resistance there somwhere and I'm not sure but I think I saw USOE. I really wanna see this, but I do not have cable tv where I'm staying right now :( I'm sure it will be on youtube, right?

I know, my girlfriend kept on screaming all the movie and even afterwards she's like all traumatized hahaha. There was just one scene that fucked it up, you know, the one in Aro's mind, Edward and Bella looked incredibly stupid. I know about lisa, I've checked a couple songs but I don't know, they're just not that interesting, they're cool to relax and just hear some music but not to actually listen to them often. Damien is about to release I guess, I got an email a couple weeks ago about some private gig for few people to be recorded and I don't recall well if any new songs were to be played

my favorites are New Born, Stockholm Syndrome and Knights Of Cydonia but it tends to change :D, first MOTP was my favorite but I guess these are the top ones for good
