I entered when I saw it on this messageboard using my gmail address since I don't have access to my comcast mail when here at work. Well, when I got home from work I saw an e-mail from Coldplay was in my comcast inbox informing me about the competition. Dilemma: Should I reenter with my comcast email since that's where the coldplay was sent or leave it with my gmail as entered even though I didn't get the email to my gmail. I don't want to risk reentering and being disqualified. Do you think the competition is open to ANYONE in the NJ/NY area or to only those who were sent the e-mail and that e-mail address exclusively?

Then you must love the last few lines of "A Message". "And I'm not gonna stand and wait not gonna leave it til it's much too late. On a platform I'm gonna stand and say that I'm nothing on my own and I love you please come home". I love that song so much! A definite favorite from X&Y and that last line just kills me..

I usually only dream that I am friends with the band and pal around with them. I've even been a guest in Jonny's house in my dreams. We'll just sit and watch movies as two platonic friends. But just a week ago I dreamt that I was at a show and I caught Guy's eye. He pulled me on stage and brought me to a spot behind the stage. The band were looking like, "Where the hell is he going with that girl!?!?" He planted a kiss on me...then another and wouldn't stop. He sat me down on a sofa and told me to wait for him after the gig. Weird...even weirder 'cause I'm a Jonny girl. But it was still nice. :)

I wonder what Jonny did for his birthday and day off. And I wonder what he is doing now. It's what, 10:30 pm there?

I love this thread. Where are you, Angie?? Actually, didn't she get evacuated because of the hurricane heading towards Texas? Hopefully, she'll be ok and we'll hear from her soon.

Hi Audry. You're seats aren't bad. You'll be on the side of the stage (Jonny's side---you lucky devil). You won't have a great head on view of the stage, though. And remember, there will be a catwalk over there, too. Surely the guys will make it over there. I'd rather have your seats over mine anyday!! I have sec 112 row 2. Have fun!

I don't think he would either. And I agree with what you say. And I would never try to hit one him if I ever had an encounter with him for the reasons you described. And even if he was single what are the chances?? He has to be careful, too. He never knows who likes him just because of who he is. At least with Chloe he has the security of knowing she was there from almost the beginning. I don't know anything about him other than what I've seen in interviews, etc. But he seems like a complete gentleman. I can't see him cheating or having relations with a tons of girls/fans/groupies. He or Coldplay don't strike me as that type.

Yes, I was going with all of the above, too. But I, too, am thinking he wouldn't want it getting out there... But isn't that what confidentiality agreements are for? :sneaky:

It's an abomination. It's terrible. My fiance said they allowed it because they got paid. They have plenty of money. Why, Oh Why!??! They've defiled a lovely song. :cry:

I always love when people claim to be vegetarian or part vegetarian (whatever the term is). Ok, so you don't eat chicken, beef or pork....but you eat fish? Ok, since when was fish a vegetable??? It's flesh, too. Technically, vegetables are living things. I'm not too educated on the vegetarian thing but if you are consuming fish and seafood why stop there? What difference does a piece of chicken make? Seems hypocritical.

Adorable. You can tell there is alot of mutual admiration between the two of them just how they look at one another. In love?? I don't know. I play along with the theory sometimes, though. I'd like to think so but until they leave the wives for one another...I'm going with great platonic friends. I wish though. I'd love to see them together. :)
