  1. a giant mallet
  2. Manhattan by Woody Allen? or were you abbreviating?
  3. will it be live? if so, where...cuz I missed out last time as well.
  4. local news said that a shipment of vuvuzela's are soon going to arrive at a nearby soccer store. The virus is out, soccer as we once knew it shall die.
  5. *crickets* well, a lot of this year I've been playing catch up, familiarizing myself with bands from last year and what not. As far as this year though, Jonsi's Go, Fictionist's Lasting Echo, and especially Eluvium's Simile's have occupied much of my time. Right now though I'm 'discovering' the National, and am basically playing Boxer and High Violet nonstop until the shine starts to wear off.
  6. If I ever get face surgery I plan on sprinting down some random street shouting 'TECH SUPPORT!!!' I watched that in my humanities class. It won't blow you away, but it's interesting and entertaining.
  7. Great example of a movie that I consider really really good, but probably wouldn't watch twice in the same week. It might have the best soundtrack I know, though.
  8. Lost In Translation, Once, The Pianist, Heima, The Seventh Seal, most things by hitchcock or with tom hanks...the list is much longer, but I have a tough time distinguishing between a really good movie, and one of my favorite movies.
  9. He's amazing, I went a couple weeks in my dorm last semester watching maybe ten of his movies on you-tube.
  10. Many people here have really good taste [(i.e. agreeable taste) i.e. my taste]. Though I almost didn't post after you said you liked saw movies.
  11. are you referring to the soundtrack then? even then, I thought it was funny to expect to like the movie based on that.
  12. anything by Ingmar Bergman. The Seventh Seal, Wild Strawberries, Winter Light, Summer with Monika, Persona etc. I love Woody Allen as well.
  13. doesn't matter. though you're probably thinking of the reader or revolutionary road. I was gonna suggest this.
  14. it's creepy imagining you saying these scattered things with those facial expressions.
  15. Lost In Translation Requiem for a Dream American Beauty
  16. I've been to the website before, apparently Obama's been campaigning for it as much as he was for chicago's olympic bid. While It would be incredible and all, it's just unrealistic IMO considering we just hosted it 4 cups ago. I sincerely doubt they'd let us have it in '18 or '22 when much more prominent soccer nations will not have hosted it once in a period that we host it twice.
  17. 5 setter for nadal. This wimbledon is feeling very similar to the world cup.
  18. just in the opening verse and beginning of the chorus. The early version seemed to reference Dimitri's character in the book where it says 'blamed by the law' instead of 'led to the flood'. Also the beginning seems to be 'you don't save them anymore, for the rest for the rest of the night'. It's silly but I emote more with the sound of the first version.
  19. No, we shouldn't. :dozey:
  20. but I am :idea2: Since everyone is already expecting the unexpected, the unexpected is now the expected, therefore I am now expecting an unexpected deviation from the unexpected back to the normally expected :smug:.
