sometimes, i feel that the harder i try, less comes my way. or perhaps.. the less i want something, the more likely it is that i'll get it. :dozey: somehow, this has something to do with this thread.

I wish I had some really good advice.... but I don't. :embarrased: back in the good ol college days I was confused as well and started taking millions of classes... which didn't really help because that's not really what the real working world is all about.. if you really want to change avenues.. think of what you really like to do and not what your good at - if you really like doing it, then being good at it will just come naturally.. i'm thinking you'll have to deal with confrontation in any area, although i don't really know how it is in journalism - maybe it's more confrontational than others? or you can do what i've heard other people do.. get the degree, but if you don't like it, just get a job in something else! i've heard of people majoring in psychology and then go into consulting afterwards.. so i guess it's possible. :idea2: or go the nerdy route and go to graduate school and postpone things for another who knows how many years.. but you really have to like studying.. :P

I thought I was the only person who was passionate about this show. :lol: Raj's team wasn't the greatest but I think the other team leader (I forget her name) got really lucky in that another contractor came to help, because they were waaay behind schedule as well. And of course there was Andy to save the day! Even though he didn't even have to. Raj should've been kept solely for entertainment purposes. I liked that Bill won. :cool: They're starting to construct that building here in Chicago. The only thing that sucks is that they're going to tear down the Sun Times building. It's been there forever..
