Why do you care for a band who have done nothing of note since circa2002?
Maybe, but there is such a thing as a wrong opinion. Like my mate who thinks Coldplay have no talent, he is wrong. And for what its worth X&Y was not only their most comericial as some dismiss it, it was just their most ambitious, arena rocky album. The problem I have with it is Chris seems to just assume everything about me the whole way through. 'Like some capapult thats fired you' X&Y has some stunning peices like Twisted logic, X&Y (a nice bit of A Day in the life homage) Low and White Shadows are great epics and Swallowed in the sea showed Coldplay are brilliant musically even if the lyrics seems like complete filler. Some people think X&Y is their best album, it was original and unique, theres nothing like X&Y out there right now.

LP4: I'm a little worried
ENO! F-ing Eno He made U2 the great Joshua Tree and Actung baby, the albums that always get called masterpeices and appear in top albums ever awards. Coldplay have an album in there already A Rush of blood to the head, but they need a total undeniable classic like Urban Hymns or The Stone Roses. And I have a feeling they will definatly deliver!

I must admit sometimes I wonder if RH are really all that amazing live, Thom seems to sometimes sing totally out of tune. But Coldplay and Oasis bah I woudn't give them the time of day live, Liam cant hold a note live and Chris prances around like a total prat and mutilates his lines... Seen him singing Live Forever? very unlikable. Still X&Y was very good, not as good as the previous 2 but Twisted logic is one of my favorate of their songs. Secondly the new album was produced by Eno, he reinvented U2 when they lost their way and it seems hes done it here too. Thirdly Coldplay are not The Beatles bands usually go through times of inactivity, especially at the age their at now raising familys and such.

Radiohead
Yup theres only one show in New York, I wish they just did a bigger tour a proper intercrit tour like Muse do (with every main city of a country being hit) I feel ive completely missed my chance to ever see Radiohead live if they do such half arsed tours as this.

Radiohead Survivor - Hail To The Thief - Round 7
Wolf at the door / 2+2=5 for the win.

Muse Survivor - Showbiz - Round 3
I really should say Cave but its an ambitious song that showcased Muse's future sound so how could I? Uno is the last of those songs that don't stick in your head or stand out. Escape is a great song, as was unintended....

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Speaking to Xfm straight after picking up the award for Best Live Band, Muse's Matt Bellamy and Chris Wolstenholme were only too happy to discuss plans for 2008 with UK dates and a brand new album in the pipeline. As Matt told Xfm, they'll only have time for one festival: "V Festival - yeah we're looking forward to that. We haven't done that for a few years and we can't wait to do it. "We’re gonna try and do something quite spectacular – we'll try and get a UFO to come in and land on everyone's heads or something. We’ll definitely do something of a Spinal Tap embarrassment level.” Known for their high-energy, visually appealing live shows, the boys from Devon were glad to snatch at least this award from "those cheeky Northerners" Arctic Monkeys, who swept up at last night's bash picking up three awards. Playing only at V this year will mean that Muse will have time to record a new album. Matt spoke further about ideas they'll be hoping to develop: "There might be a bit more Supermassive Black Hole-type stuff, a bit more electronic dancey stuff, and some stuff with an orchestra - we've always wanted to do that". On the collaborations front, Matt didn't rule out the possibility of taking Muse in some uncharacteristic directions: "I'd like to get Timbaland to rap on something for a laugh... I'd love to write a song for Amy Winehouse [for the next James Bond theme], but I think she's busy with that Mark Ronson bloke..." UFOs and Timbaland collaborations aside, Muse are sure to serve up some tasty live shows and recordings over the next few months so be sure to keep your ear to the ground. http://www.xfm.co.uk/muse-talk-supermassive-ufos

Trouble on a Black Parade reminder
OMG that was fun, the mods couldn't ban IP's until the admin showed up. So I used this site that gives you a temporary email (not that it mattered since you didnt need to activate the account) and just kept coming back, every minute or so posting an 'im back' thread. I went through a dozen accounts at least. My proudest moment was the thread 'I like my men with hard dicks' and I managed to really really really annoy Richard.

Coldplay vs. Radiohead fans
Yeah most forums have tools that make our job harder, fact is its not usually what a moderator does, their first reaction is to lock things. Ban people they find misbehaving, I won't be partisipating in the main spamming threads ill propably be able to hide for longer. And my bro has 4 accounts... so thats more work right there.

Coldplay vs. Radiohead fans
Yeah my brothers in, we used to enjoy spamming IGN because the people on there are totally in love with their own asses. We know how to spam the fuck out of a forum, its kinda a talent. Just make lots and lots of posts on existing on topic threads, so moderators have to comb the whole forum to find the vandalism.

Radiohead
Im glad that the Big Ask tackles the actual issue, not simply telling people to recycle more but making governments enforce it. I know its not all that certain if we are to blame for destroying the Ozone and human kind can prevent global warming, but its hardly a bad thing to be less wastful and try.

It could be the board is down for some other reason. If we do have a rat the rat will still be there next week...

Wouldn't you think instead of attacking the board in one swoop it wouldn't be more fun to just slowly annoy the posters, not breaking rules but just persistant unbannable offenses like accidently spamming and saying silly things. Evenually you will create a climate of hostility around the forum that would last longer than any attack.
