He has a huge smile on in all the interviews. I know he has always smiled and been easy-going. But he is glowing now. He talks more in interviews. He looks like he is really enjoying singing in the few recent performances we have seen. He used to close his eyes and look very nervous while singing. But now he looks ahead with fire in his eyes. Why do you think this is? Is it because he 1) is very excited about touring again and the new album 2) is happy about the awesomeness that is the Bakery 3) is enjoying Thalia's "secret room" with Chris (if you don't know what this is, check the Chris and Jonny thread) 4) is a proud father 5) loves his new Les Paul 6) loves that purple bistro 7) senses waves of love emanating from me...I mean, all his adoring fans 8) finally got a Nintendo Wii? .

I heard this one, but the impression I got was they were totally bullshitting just because it was only Chris and Jonny there. I think it was right after the radio DJ/interviewer said that Will/Guy were the smart ones for staying home and Chris/Jonny were the stupid ones for waking up at the crack of dawn to do that interview. So they were mock-defensive there. Do you remember the TV interview from Jonathan Ross (I think) where Ross said jokingly to Will, Jonny, and Guy "No offense, but you are just over-paid session musicians." And then Chris called him a dickhead right then and there on air. So I don't ever think he takes a single one of them for granted for one second. He said he is terrified of anyone leaving in another article. Chris has also said that he watched Metallica's film "Some Kind of Monster" like 17 times and it was helpful or something to that effect. Well, a large part of that film shows the band trying to deal with the departure of their bassist. They eventually find a new bassist. But it put lots of stress on them when the first one left. I think that hits home with Chris. He is optimistic deep down (and sometimes on the surface), so he likes that it had a happy ending and the music goes on.

Was that Will or Jonny that said "orgasmism"? (I think it was Jonny)

In UK, they think of Guy Fawkes when the name Guy or Guido comes up. So it would not have a bad connotation. Have you seen the movie V for Vendetta? God, I love this man. Did you guys see those 9 or so clips from Triple M? JJ was looking mighty fine. Some of the looks on his face while talking to the interviewer lady were like....um..... very sexy! Like he was gonna pounce. The part where he said "There wasn't any...outside pressure (eyebrow lift)" Or "this place is a real pleasure to play in." Pure sex face during those quotes.
