What Was Your Biggest Disappointment of 2010?
I'd have to totally disagree. I felt that OS worked extremely well as an album and had a similar sound on every song (except one I think). I found congradulations way too boring and a really bad take on getting that 60's surfer pop feel to an album

Atoms For Peace (Thom Yorke+Flea+others)
I saw them twice this year in April Amazing shows! I also got to see Flea fairly close before the 2nd show, and then almost met Thom after the 2nd show. Cymbal Rush was incredible live!

See Ya
not to sound like an ass, but I find this kind of thread to be really pointless especially considering the lower amount of posts. I could understand if it was someone that was really well known on the forum wanted to let people know to keep in touch, but I don't get this. Plus it's like a duplicate thread from before.

Travel chaos as blizzards hit eastern United States
It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would've been. Due to a lot of wind we got a lot of snow drifts so not so much on the ground to shovel.

Your 2010
well... the year started off like normal, and I had my last semester of college. I saw The Swell Season live at the end of January and got to meet Glen Hansard which was really cool! I did an Internship in the city which was an amazing experience and I really liked it a lot. Not to mention I got to go and be in the city at least 1-2 times a week was great too! In April I saw Thom Yorke/Atoms for Peace live twice and it was an amazing concert, and almost got to meet Thom after the show. Then around May I really started to fret because it was hitting me that school was going to end. Then at the end of May I graduated and it was cool. Then came June/July which was definitely the low point of the year. I was extremely scared about the future knowing that I wouldn't be going back to school, and that my life was going to change. I also had trouble with family stuff as well, and became very easily aggravated, and at one point acted totally out of character. But then things got much better. Then came the highlight of the year at the end of July/beginning of August where I traveled out of the country for the first time and drove to Montreal w/ my brother for the Osheaga festival. I got to meet Briggins there and we hung out at the festival, saw some great bands (Metric, The National, Arcade Fire, and many others), and it was really awesome! Also being in the city of Montreal was beautiful and it was great... definitely a place I want to and will try to visit again in the summer. Then september was a bit slow but I tried to find a job. I finally did get a job in October which was good, not just to keep busy but have some money coming in too. Since then the job has been great! My coworkers are really nice, I've met a lot of really cool people. I feel that from the trip to Montreal and this job it has really made me feel more comfortable with myself and be more social. Before I used to be extremely shy and afraid to do things, but now I'm a lot more outgoing. I feel I have wasted so much of my life already waiting for things to happen to me and nothing has that I'm tired of waiting and I want to start living... so that's what I'm doing :) Overall this has been a really amazing year. I think it has changed me and I feel like my real self when I'm with others. I have met a whole bunch of really awesome people and have become really good friends with a lot of great people on this forum this year too (you guys should know who you are). With how this year has turned out I'm excited to see where I'll be a year from now.
