It's a big deal to make resolutions I think for some people at that point in the year because with the old year ending and a new one starting people feel that the newness in something like the year is a chance to turn things around. I do agree that people can start giving up bad habits at any point in time and should. But it sort of makes sense how people would use the new year to organize things.

also I must add that I feel that this wouldn't be as big of a heated debate if it didn't have to deal with bands that are popular on the forum or favorite bands of others. Overall I think regardless of who's side you are on that both people should respect the others opinions. So i think that briggs should respect that alexa thinks that the albums were overhyped/overrated, and that alexa should respect briggins strong opinion on the topic or relation to the bands. If anything you guys should just agree to disagree.
