World's Greatest Dad-9/10

Fantasies-Metric has become one of my most listened to albums... it's great. Honestly it probably would've been my #1 or 2 for 2009 (either that or still Vecketamist-Grizzly Bear) I also really enjoyed Embryonic-Flaming Lips. I never really gave it a listen in 2009. I found the album a bit lengthy and slightly boring in the middle, but the rhythm section was great!

I think that Phil is just playing it safe in event that they have to do some rerecording. But his story continually changes as to how they are doing, not to mention Ed and Colin have expressed confidence in what they've done so far. So I personally think that the album will be released soon.

Because, the sky is blue... it makes me cryyyyyyy....

no need to be nasty. as for the songs, they were alright... In Vain or True sounded a lot like Fistful of Mercy (which dragged on for too long). Honestly I found the songs a bit boring. I like thenewno2 more.

If it's between those two albums I'd go with Kid A too

I don't know if they were the first band to do it, but they did do it like 2 years ago. They also did a remix contest for Reckoner too.
