what a great movie!

yeah. what i love about beck is how each album is different than the next. have you seen him live?

i love the smell of gasoline! i dunno why though I don't have a gas powered mower... its electric. and for the people i do yardwork for it's a manual one... which can be annoying when there are thick patches.

mellow gold is meh... my favorite song is Black Hole as well as Loser. Also Nitemare Hippy Girl is good too. Honestly I'd have to listen to it again or a few more times, but from the times i've listened to it so far I wasn't too impressed

I've had to mow my own lawn since end of middle school. Also on the weekend I mow a families yard (i've been doing that for like 6-7 years). I had this one lady I mowed her lawn that wanted me to lift the lawn mower while it was running over a step. She was an idiot, and didn't care about my safety but that her lawn was done.

mutations is one of my favorites. I love all of his albums though (well except mellow gold), and i haven't listened to his independent releases (like one foot in the grave)

That's what he said. What a way to end the night... it just pisses me off how it's a night of celebrating his music and he has to get all political. I've lost quite some respect for the man.

Exactly! I mean I also really agree it's disrespectful since he is coming from another country. It'd be like if I got some prestigious award from the Queen, I'd say well I'm so honored to get this award, but I think Tony Blair/Gordon Brown were terrible. McCartney should worry about the politics of his own country and also stick to what he knows best... making music.

As much as I love the Beatles/Lennon, I do agree that it was their ego's that really helped them to be successful. It was what pushed them to strive harder and make it. I think that overall though he seemed like a nice guy to be around with. Of course at times he may have been an ass though. Honestly I feel that of all the members it is McCartney who is the most ego-centric. speaking of which I'm a bit annoyed at his comment in the library of congress: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcLEfMhTkHs]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcLEfMhTkHs[/ame] I find this to be extremely insulting. I'm not a fan of Bush myself (I think he was a terrible president). But if you are getting an award by the country, one of the most esteemed awards you can get (that very few people have received in the past), it is extremely ignorant and wrong to be insulting the past government (even if you hated the guy). As much as I love McCartney and his music I think that in real life he's a bit of an ass and too egocentric.

i'd say i'm most active in the spring. winter is too dark/cold/kind of depressing.

yeah... i mean that's my take on the movie. some people may like it... fine... you like what you like. Just personally i don't care for it.

also i dunno about you but i also hate when it's really hot because it makes me so tired afterwards
