K maybe I'm slow (I have a massive headache at the moment), but can you please explain why that means there's more music on the way?

I think most of the media organizations in the United States (Fox News, CNN, MSNBC especially) want people to think that the Middle East is full of crazy people who want to kill Israel and start massive wars. Obama defended the dictator Mubarak by saying he's a 'US Ally' and he's 'pro-Israel'. These would be good things to consider, but as it turns out, the people of these countries feel the same way. Obviously there are some lunatics who want nuclear war, but the vast majority of the citizens of these countries want peace, and don't want any conflict with Israel. Their main issues are internal. I think they really care a lot more about how fucked their countries are domestically than they do about any foreign policies. In fact, it's the same sentiment many Americans feel. A lot of us feel that our plethora of economic problems should be at the forefront, rather than these costly, atrocious wars we're involved in.

It's all for the better. When a situation is already completely ass-backwards, any sort of change is welcome. I think more and more people are starting to wake up and realize that their governments do not speak for them and are all very corrupt. My heart goes out to the people of these countries and I wish them all the best.

Wow...just wow...I'm sitting here researching plans for next year with The King of Limbs playing in the background. On Codex now and something just hit me. Like a brick wall. I'm beginning to understand the brilliance of this album I think. I can't even focus anymore.

Tonight my mom had her first listen. After the first half of the album was over, she said she 'wasn't really impressed'. However, she really liked the second half of the album and about a minute into Give Up the Ghost she broke down into fucking tears.

It's as good as Morning Mr Magpie (to me at least).

As a whole, yes, it's brilliant, but the tracks individually (aside from 5, 7, 8, and maybe 6) are nothing special. It's certainly not enough to go on tour with. Newwww disc coming soon. It's a lovely lovely day, so I'm gonna go for a walk (perhaps through the woods) and see if it changes my perspective on things.

I think we should EXPECT a second disc, not just hope for one. Here's a few reasons I've gathered from around the interwebz: - eight tracks. solid eight tracks. but only eight tracks - last track on the album is called 'separator' - two vinyls for 8 songs? no - last line on the album is 'if you think this is over then you're wrong' - expensive album doesnt get shipped til may - why did they switch the release date ... could mean we're getting more tomorrow on the real release date EDIT (thanks Mike): Also people online have taken notice that their order tracking number has TKOL1-########, so perhaps if there's another album or songs it'll be TKOL2-#######

I just noticed something regarding the two 'halves' of this album. Perhaps Lotus Flower was placed as a divider intentionally, because of the line 'slowly we unfurl as lotus flowers'. The first half of the album is like a closed lotus flower, and the second half is more of an open lotus flower. Lotus Flower is the point at which the album 'unfurls' as a lotus flower. (I hope that makes sense) We better have a new disc soon...

Some people are even speculating that we'll get a second album this year. That would explain the album length and the quick release...
