Yea, you're probably right. I don't know why I was supporting so much US/UN intervention last night :( I was a little drunk. Same thing happened in Iraq. The US gave missiles and all to Saddam and then he turned on them.

I do think that they should fight for themselves, but I really don't think it would be too difficult for a small team to go in and nick the guy (he still goes outside for speeches and such; US snipers can hit a guy in the head from over a mile away). Oh yea and his bodyguards are hand-picked just because they're virgins (and female). Not exactly the Secret Service...

I think the best solution is for the US/UN to support the rebels by air-dropping weapons and ammunition (along with food/care packages of course).

I think a US special forces team could easily move in and knock him out. That or a strategic airstrike. I wouldn't have a problem with that. However, if the US sends forces in, they'll probably be there for decades, so I really hope that doesn't happen.

If they add Shiver or AROBTTH back to their setlists, I might actually pay to see a show.

Guy's basslines were best in Parachutes. They were simple and harmonic, and they added a lot of depth to the songs. Now they're barely noticeable throughout VLV. Jonny's guitar solos? There's like one guitar solo in VLV (Violet Hill) and it's mediocre at best. Most of Jonny's best guitar work was in AROBTTH and X&Y, and even that wasn't incredible or anything.

I think the whole point of this thread is to fill the WoM with as many Radiohead-related threads as possible. There might as well just be a Radiohead sub-section.

Best Coldplay album for me. Some incredible work there. I'm confident that they'll never again reach the brilliance of their first two albums. They've changed.

SO TRUE. Argentine/Porteño drivers are the worst! Every single day I thought I was going to get hit by a car or bus or something. Love the city, hate the drivers haha.

Most of the Coldplayers who meet up at Coldplay concerts are actual fans of Coldplay, and they post in the Coldplay section, not here. I think people in this section of the forum would be more likely to meet up at an Arcade Fire or Radiohead concert, really. P.S. The thread title made me lol hard.
