This small indie band called Radiohead is releasing an album. Supposedly it's going to be titled 'The King of Limbs'. I'm looking forward to it.

Anyone interesting in doing a 5 days of Radiohead listening party sort of thing? Starting tonight, with Pablo Honey/The Bends together tonight and Kid A/Amnesiac together on Wednesday. All leading up to THE KING OF LIMBS. Who's down??

Greatest post in the history of Coldplaying. Looooooooooooooool. You obviously know very very little about Radiohead ;) Haha I was actually assuming more people would have this as their avatar by now! I was just thinking about ordering the newspaper edition, but then I realized that would leave me with less money for the tour. I want to see them at least twice, so MP3 it is :D Anyone know when the album will be digitally released? Will different places receive it sooner than others? If I have to wait until 12am EST, I'll probably just pirate it for now and buy a physical copy later.

Yes, this is what I fear, and I completely agree with your points. It scares me when I hear people celebrating and hailing the day Mubarak resigned as the 'Egyptian Independence Day'. They can't stop too soon, or they'll lose all the progress they've made.

Yes, most b-sides are easier to get into than songs from Amnesiac. If Amnesiac had been my first Radiohead album, I probably would have given up forgotten about them. I love it today, but only because I took the time to get into it and really understand it. However, for a brand new listener, I usually recommend songs from In Rainbows (All I Need, 15 Step, Jigsaw Falling Into Place) or The Bends (Fake Plastic Trees, High and Dry, The Bends).

Certainly not in my case. I actually hated the 30 second preview and thought 'oh dear this album is going to suck'. My opinion has nothing to do with my excitement really. I wasn't even too excited for the album until I heard this song actually.

My favorite is -xion, like 'connexion'. But I hear it's rarely used nowadays.
