    A never ending staircase...interesting.
  2. It hurts my eyes every time I read 'licence' because there are people here who can't spell it and it enrages me, but I realize that in other countries it's spelled like that so I'll let you all slide... /randomrant Oh and for those who don't know, I live in the US and here we spell it 'license'.
  3. Talk Show Host and Down is the New Up are barely b-sides in my mind.
  4. Wut. They let 14 year olds drive motorcycles in Australia??? :wtf:
  5. ^Aren't you like 11? :wtf:
  6. ^To be honest, I wouldn't recommend b-sides to a brand new listener. They're great, but Radiohead's LP work is easier to dive right into in my opinion.

HARD TO EXPLAIN AND BARELY LEGAL  It's not like an epic groundbreaking song or anything, but after all these years, I was really scared that this album might be totally different, which I didn't want. I'm just ecstatic to know that this new album is going to be more of The Strokes that we've loved all these years. I usually hate when an artist drastically changes its style, especially when the band is an iconic American band with one of the best styles America has ever heard. Not sure if any of that makes sense...

The day I first heard the new Strokes single = the day I decided I must be in Spain for Benicassim Festival.
  9. High risk of death or serious injury, but, given your looks and charm, there's an even higher chance of picking up countless hot ladies. I'll let you decide Nick.
  10. Thank you so much for the help!! :D Any other Coldplayers going?
  11. Anybody know when this festival usually sells out? I'd rather buy my tickets when I'm already in Spain but if they're going to sell out soon then I'd rather get them now. Lineup so far: Mumford & Sons, The Streets, Julieta Venegas, Lori Meyers, CatPeople, The Coronas, Veronica Falls, Grupo Salvaje, The Marzipan Man and Smile, adding to the already confirmed Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, Portishead, The Strokes, Beirut, Elbow, Primal Scream and Tinie Tempah.
  12. Jonas Brothers v Brokencyde
  13. Well fuck I read that wrong :embarrassed:
  14. My sister plays it. Loudly. I don't know why you'd assume I play it on my own...
  15. Let's all just gather round and fuck Pink's husband. Deeply.
  16. ...who gets an INSTANT headache from this song? [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkshHySfRD8]YouTube - Fucking Perfect - Pink lyrics[/ame]
  17. Name: My first name + a Coldplay song which I expected to be good before I actually listened to it. Avatar: Gayface. Self-explanatory. Sig: My facebook, my last.fm, and Radiohead lyrics. It used to have a hilarious, bigoted, authoritarian, pretentious post by a mod in it, but I was forced to remove it because the mods here think it's fine to use quotes by other members in your sig (Mark and Lory are prime examples) but not quotes by mods.
  18. Radiohead is a huge possibility still, but with no plans whatsoever, it's hard to speculate. An album has been expected from them for some time now, and even if they're planning a summer release, they could certainly do the same as Coldplay in 2002 and premiere the songs on the pyramid stage. Maybe I'm just being optimistic, but I'd put my money on Radiohead closing sunday.
  19. Lol'd. Google: Glastonbury. Also lol'ing at the people all of a sudden scrambling trying to get Glasto tickets just because Coldplay is going to be there. This show is pretty much guaranteed to have an incredible lineup every year, with or without Coldplay. They did it in 2002 with AROBTTH. If I'm not mistaken, it was one of the first times they played Clocks (and other songs as well). [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yco1uuPXv8M]YouTube - Coldplay clocks@glastonbury 2002[/ame]
  20. Now let's get Radiohead for that sunday slot and it should be a pretty killer set of headliners.
  21. Meh I used the 'Band Index' which is supposed to have every band and it doesn't list it.
