It really wasn't. The tester was my driver's ed teacher, and me, him, and the other guy taking the test just drove around talking about random shit...it was actually pretty chill. My driver's ed teacher was a bad ass.

Every state is different. Here in Virginia, we take a written test for our Learner's at 15 and 6 months. Then we take a semester of Driver's Ed at school. After Driver's Ed, we take a 3 part test with our driving instructor, each part being about 90 minutes. Then we get our licenses once we've had our permits for 9 months.

What kind of work do you do? Nah I'm 6 hours behind you, it's 7 pm. I've just been asleep because I'm trying to get on a better sleep schedule...it's not working out to well!

Washington, D.C. is a city which isn't part of any state. It's the US capital, and it lies between two states, Maryland and Virginia. I live in the state of Virginia, in the city of Richmond (well, a suburb of it).

Rosetta Stone is a language learning software. Rather than teaching you a language by translating your native language (English in my case), it teaches it the way you learned your first language (through pictures, sounds, etc). Highly effective in my opinion.

DOH! I assumed you changed it based on who you're talking to! :shame: I'm working on it. I'm using Rosetta Stone. I haven't even gotten to the conversational lessons yet, only vocab so far.
