TRUE. I wish more cops would just worry about keeping people safe, rather than harassing innocent people. Also... there's a TV show in the US called 'Parking Wars'. It films Parking Police as they go about their day, handing innocent people tickets and getting in altercations with people who have done nothing wrong. Once, I saw a guy give a ticket to a disabled man who clearly needed to park as close as possible to the store...and he was only in there for 5 minutes. But of course, he was such an evil person and deserved to pay a $50 fine for harming no one.

Praise isn't deserved when a team plays with incredible skill? They have one of the best sides in the history of football, so I don't see why they shouldn't be praised. And I'm not just saying that as a Barsa supporter. If Real were 10 points ahead of Barsa in the league, with the amazing stats Barsa has right now, I'd praise them for their skill as well. But that's not the case. In terms of talent, Real is pretty even with Barsa, but Barsa plays so well as a single unit, and I find their level of play to be quite deserving of praise.

I just don't want to because I don't want to be close to someone who I'm rooming with...then we'll get on each others' nerves too easily.

There seem to be two different groups of press in Spain, both in football, and in culture in general. The Catalan press, which is what I tend to read, adores Pep and is always making Mourinho look evil. The press in Madrid is obviously much more pro-Mourinho, although they're extremely disappointed that they'll only end up with one trophy this season. Really depends where you go/what you're reading.
