  1. Pretty excited about the Brasil v Ivory Coast match. It should be a very good game. My Brasilian friend and I are going to a Brasilian Churrasco restaurant to watch it, I can't wait. Drogba should be playing more (I hope), but I wonder if Ivory Coast's defense can handle Brasil's striking power (which didn't totally impress me in their match against North Korea).
  2. The Denmark v Cameroon Game was the most exciting game so far, no doubt.
  3. People like that just shouldn't be in the tournament. The World Cup is not about money or personal gain; it's about your country. I hope his country is ashamed of him. With that attitude, France will never get anywhere.
  4. He's talking about what Australia needs to advance.
  5. Why are people saying run with headphones? Earphones are much easier to run with...just get some that actually fit your ears.
  6. Headphones unless you're an athlete. The best thing to do is buy a nice pair of headphones for when you're at home (I recommend Sennheisers), then have a cheap pair of earphones for when you're out of the house, running, or going somewhere where they could be damaged. http://www.sennheiserusa.com/private_headphones
  7. Spot on...42 started out fairly decent, but then those lyrics at the end were just horrid. Same with DAAHF...the beginning is amazing but then it turns to blegh.
  8. It's grown on me to some extent...but nothing like I had hoped :(
  9. I support them. Whatever they do, it will be brilliant, and I would much rather let them finish off with an absolute masterpiece than anything less. (I say that because I'm sure it will be their last :()
  10. They're the only classic rock I listen to, and the only classic rock I need. They're brilliant and the sheer effect they've had on the world of music should be enough to make anyone appreciate them. Unfortunately some people just don't realize what exactly those four guys have done for music :( Happy Birthday to Sir Paul McCartney by the way.
  11. I agree with this, and I'd also like to add on to everyone's point about the Muse albums... First of all, I'm a huge Muse fan; I've seen them live and they're fantastic. However, Resistance was such a massive disappointment. It's their worst album other than their rookie album Showbiz, which doesn't really count for me. Origin of Symmetry, Black Holes and Revelations, and Absolution are all FAR superior.
  12. 1) Magical Mystery Tour 2) Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band 3) Please Please Me 4) Help! 5) Abbey Road 6) The Beatles (The White Album) 7) Beatles For Sale 8) With The Beatles 9) A Hard Day's Night 10) Rubber Soul 11) Revolver 12) Yellow Submarine All by the Fab Four from Liverpool of course... Honorable mention to 1970's Let It Be :P
  13. For those of you who missed it...the controversial call against the US is at the end of this video: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/video/clip?id=5301919&categoryid=4823314&cc=5901&ver=us
  14. In Rainbows is still #1 in my book :smug:
  15. Gui Boratto (born 1974 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian electronic music producer. He started his career working in the Publicity sector in 1989. His album Chromophobia[1] was awarded the title of Mixmag Album of the Month. Regarding why he chose the name Chromophobia, Boratto said: "The same meaning as monochromatism in architecture, which means simplicity. That’s all. I don’t have a morbid fear of colors at all. But also, I was ironic. My music is really colorful." 17. I've noticed the same thing...either we're seeing a new generation of football in which there are no clear front runners and the powerhouses are no longer powerhouses, or this ball and/or environment is having an effect on everything. As for the USA and England, I don't know about you English fans, but I certainly don't want to move onto the next round with THREE DRAWS. If we don't beat Algeria, I don't want to get slaughtered in the round of 16, and I'm sure you all feel the same about your game against Slovenia.
  18. Welcome to the club...:(
  19. I stopped reading there.
  20. We all are ;) I.am.furious.
  21. Novakovic's hair makes him look like a medieval monk.
  22. Good luck beating Brasil on their home turf :laugh3: I honestly don't think anyone will have a shot in 2014.
  23. Agreed. The only real disadvantage is that you've got a bunch of bullet holes in your corpse, but you're dead anyway so whatever.
  24. Both of those goals were completely their fault. They're slow as molasses. Onyewu shouldn't even be playing considering his injury. But Donovan had an amazing opportunity right after the yellow card and he missed it!
  25. Although I must quote our TV announcer "that was the stupidest call I've ever seen" (regarding the yellow card on Findley).
