I was there on the 2nd show in which chris said be could have heard a pin drop. It was so quiet after violet hill bit it picked up after he gave a speech about something! Also told us about how the hardest part was written about a young girlfriend called Victoria :) But yeah was very quiet at first he seemed so down at that point

i think what it comes down to is that U2 have been top of the world a lot longer than coldplay have - and even for a band as good as coldplay, who have this advantageous edge on their music, and the way they are more interesting and unique as a band, it's very difficult to push those U2 kings out the way!

I think 'Glass of Water' WILL be a single for three reasons: - on the sticker on the EP, it mentions it includes LIT2 and Glass of Water (this is usually done for singles or forthcomnig singles) - Chris said somewhere it was a 'brilliant stadium song' .... - It's brilliant.
