  4. So take one off your wrist and put it somewhere safe for like, her 16th brithday or something - would be a pretty cool present way in the future...
  5. Or Kids... or Time To Pretend... or... hell, the whole MGMT album rocks!!!
  6. My darling Berry-ladies! I've not posted or even looked at this thread for over a month... long, boring story but I've been going through a hard time lately and just didn't feel like I could hang around a fun thread like this without bringing you all down :embarassed: But after celebrating the New Year, I decided to log on and wish a few people Happy New Year... I was lucky to see Coldplay on Dec 7th and saved this photo of the concert to use as my desktop wallpaper: When the pic loaded tonight, my eyes went straight to the middle... and those beautiful long fingers... I never even noticed thise hands before I started visiting this thread :dozey: ... now, I wonder how I ever missed them! Anyway, that realisation made me realise it's time to get back in touch, surrender to the Berry-love, and say a big hello to my beloved Berry-women Here's wishing you all a Berry-licious 2009! RedGirl
  7. You should give her Don't Panic to remind her "We live in a beautiful world"
  8. Ting Tings - That's Not My Name 3 minutes of pop perfection!!! :smug: [ame=http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=6UX0p7uAW2s]YouTube - The Ting Tings - That's Not My Name[/ame]
  9. It's because they didn't have the internet when they were growing up. They had time to learn all that stuff like knitting... we're all too busy hanging around here :smug:
  10. Just sent my "answers" - just a random collection of words really. Really struggled with the Online haters & people who wouldn't be caught dead at a concert... I'm just a very positive person and tend to ignore any anti-Coldplay stuff :laugh3: If there was a wooden spoon award, I think I'd be in with a chance!
  11. I have no time for her profiting from her weight loss by claiming it was because she was eating riveta, but can you blame her for wanting to keep the operation a secret, knowing what our press are like? What business it it of theirs what operations anyone has? There are probably loads of famous men who've had similar procedures, but the press aren't hounding them, are they. The fact is plenty of male celebs go out looking a state once in a while either because they're just going about their day-to-day lives, have put on a bit of weight or whatever. But at least 90% of those photos that take bitter delight in someone looking less than their best are of women. Your "newspaper" of choice criticised Gwyneth Paltrow for going to a party without wearing any make-up. Seriously, is that a news story??? And I did notice the note of concern that The Daily Mail has for Joaquin Phoenix - "fears for his health". Will they show the same care and consideration for the next famous women to put on weight? I somehow doubt it...
  12. Pardon my language, but that's absolute crap. They are not providing a service, because they are not saying "Hey, look at her, she's normal", they're saying "Ooh, isn't she ugly without make-up" or "Wow, hasn't she put on weight" And using the "well they get paid a fortune so they should just put up with it" line is the laziest argument of all!
  13. Baby bonnets & bootees??? They don't sound that easy!

  15. My problem with the media is how judgmental they are. A large proportion of them seem to revel in pointing out celebrities flaws. Years ago, I used to read Heat magazine - it was quirky and fun, but a couple of years in they stopped putting the usual celeb pictures on the front cover and started plastering them with "bad hair day" photos or "skinny stars getting fat" stories. Anyone who's ever been photographed will have images where they're not looking their best - just because you're famous doesn't mean you should be publicly ridiculed in such a spiteful way, just because you nipped out to the shops without any make up. And no publication is worse than the one that started this thread. Fat or thin, the Daily Male loves nothing better than critcising women.
  16.
