  1. In the UK we're in the midst of a postal strike... our mail always slows during December and this will add to the problem :( But I'm sure the Coldplaying Karma will win the day
  2. You will get your match by the end of the first week in November... as for a deadline to send the card, there isn't a fixed one as the time it takes each card to reach it's destination will depend on where it's headed from/to. Once you know where your card is going, speak to someone at your local post office to find out how long it will take to get there :)
  3. If there were a significant number of Jedi in the school, it would be appropriate, but somehow I doubt it. There are, however, large Muslim, Hindu and Sikh communties in those ares of London, and they are entitled to have their beliefs respected
  4. But if only the pupils who observed that religion took the day off, they would miss out of a days schooling - that would be punishing them for being muslim or hindu or whatever. If you have a large proportion of pupils in one borough who are from an ethnic minority, it makes sense for them all to do the same. Plus, if some school closed whilst other stayed open, attendance would be poor in the open schools anyway as those children would feel "entitled" to take a day off.
  5. I think it's a great idea. It will help children to understand the importance of these festivals to the pupils who follow those religions.
  6. Til Kingdom Come is one of my favourite Coldplay songs... definitely in my top 3
  7. What a desperate pathetic headline
  8. Nope, this is just for us. The Postcards project was a huge success, and trying to do it again would just diminish the impact of the original postcards. Sorry some of you missed it, but I'm sure there'll be other things you can get involved with in hte future
  9. Don't care about the non-Coldplay stuff, although I think it would be appropriate to play some Jay-Z Just please play Shiver
  10. Thought Thursday's show was ok, but James corden was trying a bit too hard - he laughed at every joke like it was the funniest thing he'd ever heard
  11. Crests of Daylight was one of them... can't remember who the other poster was but if you look through the first couple of pages they'll be in there somewhere.
  12. I'm not sure if the online one is happening, as everyone seems to be really behind the postal Secret Santa. There were only two people who wanted the online version - perhaps you could contact them?
  13. Couple of days since I checked in... wow, can't believe we've nearly reached 100 participants. If you've registered your interest, remember you now need to PM your address to Santa. Make sure you put your home country in the subject box.
  14. I think it will be a lot more low-key than the Beijing games... we can't compete with that and shouldn't try to
  15. True, I loved that design - really classic-looking P.S World Cup over Olympics, Josh??? No way!
  16. Yeah, we don't like to brag :P
  17. I like the 2012 logo! Anyway, congrats to Rio, a lovely choice, I hope they produce a great games. Sorry to see Chicago go out so early, especially after such sentimental mind games from Madrid!
  18. This article could almost be re-titled "Suck it, bakeryboy!" :p
  19. We'll already have new songs to hate from album number 5 by the time this podcast comes out :p
  20. That's a pretty great sig you have yourself, Sirhc!
  21. A Christmas/Holiday card. PM your address to Santa and please include your home country in the subject box!
  22. Sorry, I mis-typed. As has previously been explained, Santa is rather lazy and often gets his elves to type for him. :dozey:
