We had our cousin over for a week and we desperately wanted to go to the swimming pool, but my mother wouldn't let us for some reason. I opened every tap in the bathroom and soon the whole room was under water ... so my brother, my cousin and I put on our swimsuits and pretended we were at the swimming pool. :blank: My mother wasn't too happy about the mess.

I wouldn't want to run around with a huge ring on my hand anyway, like some others said, it would have to be a ring that I can wear everyday. That said, it would be more of a gesture for me anyway, not a status symbol like it is for some women. I don't need to show everyone that I'm engaged by wearing a huge ring. :thinking:

I'm pretty sure all the things I've sent abroad have been sent via airmail. The people at the post office automatically put the airmail-sticker on every package I send abroad. And I've put the cards into the dropbox and all of them arrived within two weeks except two, including my Secret Santa. :\

I can do it with both. :awesome:

Hmm, I think it's somehow cooler if you find a card from the other side of the world in your mailbox. Yeah, maybe it would be good to set an earlier deadline. Maybe you could also include some more people that have an overview of the people who've sent and haven't sent their cards and can bug those people that haven't done it yet via PM? Just an idea, like some helper-elfs that go after the naughty kids with their :whip:.

No, I am not. My parents wanted to, but they left the church even before I was born and the pastor basically pushed them away by telling them they wouldn't be able to raise me in a "Christian way" anyway, so they decided against it after all.

I think I was specifically looking for a Coldplay message board and then found Coldplaying. I lurked for pretty long though, not every day, but I think over years, haha. I only joined in 2008, then posted a bit and got lost again and only really started posting after I went to two concerts in August 2009.
