I started reading this yesterday afternoon and finished it last night. I really wanted to make it last a few days but I just couldn't put it down!! :D I thought it was a witty, charming, funny, entertaining read covering all the things it needed to. There was obviously Coldplay references but for the main part it was mostly about Matt's experiences over the years. Also, some of the captions below the pictures were quite funny too :lol:

Someone who talks sense!! Who's to say what's cool and what isn't. Plus if millions of people buy an album it must be "cool" in their eyes and surely that's all that matters. I'm sorry he's dead but what a pompus idiot :rolleyes:

Ben Jones was just talking about Chris and Gwyneth etc watching Jay Z from the side of the stage at Isle Of Wight. He said Chris had a jacket tied round his head, wasn't sure if he was trying to disguise himself but if he was it wasn't working. He said he just looked like Chris Martin with a jacket on his head! :laugh3: :laugh3:

I was always a bit baffled by the amount of backlash X&Y got. :shrug: I've always liked it, I'm not saying it's my favourite Coldplay album but I love it all the same!

Hmmm.

I'm not gonna stop listening to something because it goes mainstream. I mean, that's what happens when a band has a song that seems to strike a chord with a mass amount of people. Surely, if it gets a lot of people's attention that's not a bad thing...ok some people will know that song and none of the others, but it also might prompt some people to got out and discover what other stuff Coldplay have :shrug:

I remember getting X&Y the day it was released and being excited by the fact that there was less than a month until I was seeing them live! I love that album, especially Talk, White Shadows, Low and Square One. It doesn't seem like it was five years ago I was eagerly waiting for that album and now we've had Viva and I'm eagerly waiting again!! :laugh3:
