Well, I do watch Glee and I'd love to see a Coldplay track on there. I think it was Mich who pointed out that they're already majorly commercial, so I don't see how giving permission to Glee to cover one of their songs would have any effect on the band at all :shrug: Plus the way I look at it, any publicity for a band is good publicity surely?

Whatever it is, it's going to be different than what they've already done. So far in association with LP5 we've heard "stripped down" and now "spacey"...how many other things will we hear before we actually get the album :rolleyes: :lol:

I agree with this ^ I don't know exactly what's been going on as i assume most of it's been happening in The Lounge area and I don't really go there, however this is a forum for discussing Coldplay, can't people just get on with that and stop sniping at each other?! I've read this whole thread and some of the things being said by some of you about each other is really disrespectful :( Personally I'm thankful this forum is here, and from what I can see Ian and the mods do a pretty good job!! If any of you don't like the rules (which you agreed to follow at the time of signing up!!) then you're free to leave at any time, nobody is forcing you to stay here. I can hear a few slight similarities to DAAHF but I don't think they need to be worried about being sued just yet :lol: I'd be interested to hear more stuff from them when they have an album out or whatever, I quite liked that track!

Nobody wants anything they release to be bad, them included I'm sure :laugh3: There's no point sitting here trying to work out what it will sound like because I don't think anyone will be able to guess and be right anyway!

Surely nobody wants to hear what would essentially be a repeat of one of their previous albums? I think to expect that is a bit sill really because as they progress as a band their sound is going to change, regardless of what producer they use. The fact that I don't know what it will sound like is the bit I find most exciting about knowing a new album will be coming at some point :dance:

Even with Eno, it's gonna be a different album than Viva. Like someone already mentioned above he's produced U2 albums that have different sounds. Personally, I'm happy to give whatever they release a listen and hopefully I'll love it, just like I do all their other albums :D
