I haven't heard the new album yet so I'm not qualified to comment on their opinions on that front. But that quote of Chris's they took "I don't care if we sell a million less records" or something to that effect. Now correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't that statement in response to a reporter getting nosy about his personal life, and that what he actually said was answering those kinds of questions wasn't worth it even if it meant selling a million less records. Not some how implying that he didn't expect this record to do as well. I don't know it just bugs me that the media feel at liberty to take any quote and put it in a completely different context at will.

First I was planning on going to Sacramento, canceled. Then I was planing on Oakland, canceled. Now I'm going to try my hardest to get to this show, but with only one show in Northern California I imagine the rush for tickets is going to be a little insane. Heres hoping they add another date that sticks.

I know I'm new but I'm just going to dive in so forgive me. Anyway put me on the list of those waiting. I'm kinda old fashioned that way, but yes its one heck of a temptation. And if my brother finds out it leaked he's going to be all over it, and then it will be played at ear bleeding volume in our garage. So lets just say for now I've decided against it. :\

Well I just signed up after about a steady month of lurking so I thought I should introduce myself. I'm just your average 25 year old coldplay fan, have been since sometime in 2000, when I picked up parachutes on the strength of a thirty second clip of 'Trouble'. They officially hit near favorite band status after A Rush of Blood, was released. But I never went looking for fan sites or anything, I'm not sure why, maybe its because I already belonged to a few fan sites for my other fav bands and didn't really need a place to just chat. But by the time X&Y came out I officially had my whole family on board as fans so coldplay is pretty much playing somewhere in my house at all times, and I just love their music more as time passes. I'm excited to finally join a community where I can talk about my love for this fantastic band, as thats been difficult on the other boards I belong too. So enough of this long intro. ::::waves:::: :D
