Oh and 4 months wait for the album is stupid? Maybe not. I'm not a fan but I know that Lady Gaga announced on 31st December 2010 that her new album would be released in May 2011! 5 Months!

They were the release dates, I mean when they were announced! :) So...before Violet Hill came out, did we know the name of VLV and it's release date?

*Can someone please remind me again...was Violet Hill released before they announced VLVODAAHF? *The outfits- I like them, but aren't they a little bit similar to the Viva ones? *A Tour- Didn't they say it would be a while before they tour, they were going to take their time? Would a Summer 2012 World Tour be plausible/on the cards? * Although the lyrics look stupid written down as 'Wa wa wa', i'm sure it won't sound stupid in the song. I mean the 'OOOH ARRRH' bit in Clocks looks a little silly written down.

I am not buying all this MX...released in October stuff... The website was updated quite a while back now, I don't believe they would of know the album release date back then!

They have set up a little routine...every night for the past few nights...there has been SOMETHING. They know that Coldplay fans will be waiting for something tonight...so maybe a free download of a new track? Maybe? Or at least details! There will be something, I'm sure.

I think this is lovely. All Coldplay fans from around the world coming together to wait and see if there is any news! :D This really is a great forum, hopefully some news soon!

Comparisons to Radiohead? Doubt it. Correct me if I am wrong, but Radiohead are on their own label?? They would have the freedom to release music when and how they want to. Coldplay would be different, because there will be lots of promotion for the new release, which would mean a long promotion campaign, so several months. It's not going to be a quick release.

Well the video the other night was posted about 22:55 GMT, So it might be a late one again tonight...who knows?

I love the new album! It is really fun!

My local music scene is basically heavy metal and acoustic. I enjoy both types of gigs.

I downloaded the new AM's album and new Bon Iver album the other day...I've listened to Bon Iver like twice, and AM's about 15! I really can't stop listening to it, it is actually fantastic, and I really am having trouble ranking the albums. Love Is A Laserquest has grown on me as well. Seriously Arctic Monkey's can do no wrong!

I think a lot of the songs are 'Humbug-ish', and I don't think it was necessarily more 'poppy' and ''accessible' like they said it would be!
