As promised...before I start any new FanFic's, I will be finishing a number of ones that I neglected. You probably won't remember this one but well over 2 YEARS ago, I started a Superhero fanfic entitled 'The Coldplay', I only did one, very short part, but I never continued it...until now!!! Good! :) And it is the anniversary of this thread on MONDAY! We should have a little celebration ;) :P Would you say this is your favourite thread? These FanFic threads must have broken some records on the board, the ratio of posts to views, and writers in the thread to post and views! Like the actual FanFic thread has been going for two years and only has (almost) 2,000 posts...but over 100,000 views! Crazy! It seems a lot of people enjoy reading all your amazing stories!

I'll try and do a bit of writing within the next few days :) I just realized I haven't been in this thread properly for about a year!!! It's crazy, and it's also crazy to think that this FanFic thread Part 2 is almost 2 years old...I remember when it all started, it doesn't seem 5 minutes ago! I hope you are alright, Brooke :)

Hi everyone...how is everyone doing? I'm a little ashamed to poke my head in here...I abandon all you lot and write stories which, to this day, remain unfinished...and I really want to finish them...and I PROMISE I will, I don't know how long it will take, but I'm determined to do it! I've got a few ideas in my head for new stories, but Instead of just plowing on and writing new stories (which I probably won't finish! :P ), I am just going to write those ideas down and leave them for later while I finish my other stories. I haven't really checked...but there are a fair few I have to finish, and like Coldplay are doing with LP5, finishing these stories is going to be my 'Summer project'. With many of my stories, I have had a clear idea of where I wanted to go with them, and had a beginning, a middle and an end sorted out...but other commitments and laziness, if I'm honest, has got in the way of me finishing them...or maybe it is just writers block? :P Either way...I am growing up as a person and beginning to realize, there are things I need to do in life, there are things I need to accomplish...although these stories aren't necessarily a big deal, I feel that I have been a quitter! I was, and still proud, to have completed a 50,000 word novel for the NaNoWriMo challenge back in 2009 (I tried again in 2010 but failed rather quickly), so I know I have it in me to finish my stories. Without blowing my own trumpet, I am extremely proud of what I have created with this thread, without me, you amazing people on here may never have written Coldplay FanFics! I also believe this thread to be one of the nicest on Coldplaying, and it's great to be out of The Lounge (I haven't set foot in there for a looooooooong time) because the proper Coldplay fans are the best...I mean the best people in the world. I think this thread has created lots of friendships. I think this thread has created a lot of happiness and joy. This thread has exposed extraordinary talent and I am proud of each and every one of you.

I'm so very sad right now, ever since I heard the tragic news this afternoon! She was an extremely talented woman who was, humanly, flawed- tragically. A great loss to the world of music and my heart goes out to her friends and family. From what I've heard, she recorded a lot of her new album...so we might be hearing that? It will be great to have something to remember her by!

Everything Everything! A brilliant album! I've only heard Elbow, EE, James Blake, Adele, Tinie Tempah & Metronomy from that list though...but Man Alive by Everything Everything is the best, I saw them supporting Keane and they were brilliant live!
