Haha, yeah when I lived in Cambridge over the summer, I was SO mocked when I came home! I had picked up all of the slang and was speaking kinda oddly :uhoh: They live in England most of the time, so I imagine that they have British accents, regardless of the fact that they're with Gwyneth more. I have friends with Australian parents, but it's not like my friends have Australian accents themselves!

I'm optimistic about it, I think it'll be realllly close and a fight to the finish, though :\

I know, it's always puzzled me with the Beatles, too... But see, it's not like Americans would suddenly start singing with a British accent, so why the other way around? :stunned: He has more of an accent on Parachutes, in Spies for example... But in VLV he sounds so different! I hereby declare this the weirdest phenomenon ever. I've been trying to figure this out for years :P

Whenever I see an Ugg boot, I imagine it turning into a sheep and attacking me (not really, but still...). I just wear Chucks instead, canvas is safer even if my feet are freezing ;) They first time I saw The Nappies, I was sort of embarrassed for them (or maybe Gwyneth) :P But now it's just ridiculously funny... When Chris Martin has a freakout, genius is born :laugh3:

Yeah, it was kinda weird! He just kept saying the same thing too... (not Chris, the interviewer) I kept muttering "you're pushing it, man" :P I mean, it's a sensitive legal issue, there's only so much Chris could say! Maybe he was hoping that he could get Chris to slip up or something? I don't know... :thinking: Oh well, I guess he was the first interviewer to get a member of the band since this whole thing came out, so what do you expect?

All it took was... a lawsuit. Shit! I don't want Chris sounding professional! :bigcry: :P But seriously, he did a good job. Especially since the interviewer really pushed the issue... I was waiting for Chris to blow up but he stayed really cool- he even turned the question back on the guy! :lol:

Yeah, I was pretty impressed! He gave nothing that the media (or possibly a court :uhoh: ) could run with, but still seemed honest and professional... LOL Chris sounding professional... :stunned: Who knew?
