Like how I felt after the election was over :P Well I'm the world's worst procrastinator, but once I saw that December 22nd deadline, I got moving and mailed my postcard. HAHAHAHA Peter Pan, hooked... :P Ahem. Sorry! Nice story, I feel the same way! I've said on the forum before that Coldplay helped me immensely when my grandfather died this summer. I blasted "Everything's Not Lost" from Live 2003 on repeat, and joined in the singalong part at the top of my lungs until I didn't feel like crying anymore :P I still do it, actually, when I get down about it... Anyway, I'll be forever grateful to them for that, I even mentioned it on my postcard to them (kinda cryptically, but still... )

Haha, I have video of him doing that at my concert on Halloween! Well all of my friends have heard about it (and are quite happy to mention it to me), and they don't listen to Coldplay at ALL, so I think it's pretty widespread. I've sorta heard about it all over... And if you type words like "music copyright infringement" into Google now, articles about this show up on the first page of results :\

It was a really small intimate gig, only about 50 people... And all of those people were the Coldplaying regulars around here that I usually talk to! After the gig, I remember Lore and Chelsea went and asked Chris for autographs, and he was like "of course, you started the Postcards project!" Then I went up and asked too, and at first he was sort of rude (*gasp*), but then he agreed and his note above the autograph was some giant apology... But I didn't mind one bit and subsequently framed it :P ... I wish it had been real, those dreams are so depressing to wake up from *sigh* :disappointed:

Guys, guys, guys, I just mailed my postcard!!! It was so freaking exciting! I had to stop myself from skipping out of the post office :P *stops being overly excited* I'm just so pumped that it's on its way to the guys, and that I actually got it finished and sent off- I'm such a procrastinator :rolleyes:

GUYS I just had the best Coldplay afternoon! :dance: First I went and mailed my postcard for the project, which was incredibly exciting (even though I got some weird looks)! Then I went over to Barnes and Noble, and thought I'd check out the music magazines... There, front and center, was the Q issue with Chris on the cover! There were a lot of people around, so even though I wanted to run over and snatch it up as quickly as possible, I forced myself to calmly wander over and pick it up... Then I squealed rather loudly :P All of this while listening to Coldplay on my iPod, and then VLV came on the speakers at Barnes and Noble, and it was just too exciting. It was a truly brilliant afternoon :D
