Gold Heart Assembly A new-ish London band - I heard them played on the radio this morning. They were likened to Fleet Foxes by the dj but they're not quite as full on beardy folk as Fleet Foxes - they're a bit more upbeat and more rocky on a few tracks. Listening to the myspace songs right now...liking The Jesus Wheel very much. I've read some bits about the Johan situation, I'm sure I've not read it all - I got the impression the thing about them having a baby was a convinient excuse to use and there were other issues that helped him make the decision to leave...after all, plenty of guys in band have kids and manage to balance home and band life...but...they all still seem friendly in spite of any differences so that's good..:thumbsup:

^um..dunno when they supported SR exactely, sorry... Yeah, Johan definately seems like the odd one out at times on that dvd....or maybe I just read too much into it cos they were already a trio when I started finding things out about the band...idk :shrug: but he does have this whole 80's stadium rock god persona about him, that the others just don't seem to have. It makes him look a bit of a prat sometimes :\...that bit where he's sitting on the stool asking Michael about his bass lines, is just cringe-worthy... I have to skip it....:embarassed:
