Wooooo, I was inspired by all the concerts lately, and decided to simulate one of my own tonight. Sooo I put on the Live 2003 Concert DVD, hung all my Lovers in Japan butterflies from the ceiling, and set up some strobe lights in my living room. Then I put on my Coldplay shirt and madly danced and sang to the whole thing, it was fantastically brilliant. :D :D :D

Since there's a lot of random and excellent indie bands out there, and if we tried making a thread for each and every one of them, those threads would probably end up dying... you can recommend or just discuss your favorite indie bands that most people probably haven't heard of here! (page 726). So it's not exactly Harry who "saw" the carriages, but still, I assume he would've noticed and said something if he could see the thestrals.

That's EXACTLY how my brother is. It was very very annoying at first, but I eventually just got used to it. I confess that I got married in kindergarten under the play structure, and I never got divorced. :P

I found an inconsistency in the series! Well, I think I did. In the end of the 4th book, when Harry, Ron, and Hermione are waiting for the carriages to come and take them to the Hogwarts Express, it mentions something about how Harry sees the horseless carriages. But in the 5th book, he can see the thestrals that pull the carriages, and the reason behind that is that he saw Cedric being killed. So why couldn't he see the thestrals in the end of GoF, since he had just seen Cedric get killed then, too?
