Carla, if I offered it is because I think it better you don't do it alone. I don't need to drive no problem. You will not want to go back, and if you might, of course I will follow. No need to make things more complicated than they are : catch what life is giving you, it is all handed to you by friends ! That's my philosophy although I am not a buddhist, not yet at least. You have a couple of hours to decide anyway. Don't panic! :)

It can be confusing when you feel resonsible to people and your job. Maybe take a moment to look in your heart for the answer. That's why I offered to go with. I can drive bits too. And I'll keep you awake when you drive. But we need to decide soon now. I really believe the best would be to leave today and sleep in the van in a quiet place (not a motorway truck stop by all means!) I have to print maps of Strasbourg and ask my neighbour to watch my cat for 2 days, and pack a little bag. And obviously I need to catch a train to Rotterdam at one point.

Well when I was your age it happened often that I had 2 hours sleep before going to work. Usually it is the night after that that you will feel more hangover. The first sleepless day usually goes fine, surprisingly. A healthy girl like you should not feel much of it. and the high of the concert will keep you going mentally. The real question is do you feel up to it ? I even think it might be best to leave tonight and sleep in the van before meeting Chavi. It sounds to me less tiring than getting up at 4am. But that's me. Is your boss letting you have the van ?

Oh Carla how painful his reaction ! Should I come down and meet tonight ? If we can change his mind then great, and if you'll have me I'll sleep on the couch so that we can go at 5am like planned. If he does not change his mind, well at least we would have met and have a chat. What bugs me is that he is so authoritarian when you are obviously a responsible girl, financially independant, and overal reasonnable. Does he think you are meeting another boy ? (apart from our 4 beautiful ones)

Indeed dear Joe, It is best not to go to much into the druggy scene ! I was so disappointed after a while, seeing what it does to the best people. Nowadays I get my dancing crave sorted at other places. Much more fresh !

Oh of course, I have some nice herbal tea in you prefer :D Wel I guess Carla and Chavi have bee concerting privately about the wild trip. They were not on the board last night. I hope they will let me know early enough if I need to go so that I can do a little preparation. I used to go to open air parties sometimes a day drive away (like raves you know). That's a long time ago, but it always felt so simple and easy. We go ? Let's go ! Then hours of driving, a couple of hours dancing, very little sleep, and back. This is more reasonnable in comparision!

They will always be very special to me. To the point that they can not go wrong, I'll probably always will be very partial on that. I could tell you more but that would be ranting I guess. Wow this cup of coffee is delicious. :) Want some ?

Exactly, I hear a beautifu phrase the other day : " Others are the key to the world " Like we can develop our own skills, knowledge and maybe wisdom, but what is it if worth if you stay in your ivory tower (or in my case tiny house and garden). The funny thing is Coldplay has helped me with opening up again in a time when I was locked with myself. To the point that I find some spontaneous and fighting spirit again, like if I was 10 years younger !

Well to tell you the truth, I had something of the sort myself. I feel a little bit betrayed. Now I also know by now that I can count on myself. I am my best friend (just need to make sure I dont go into the best ennemy side). Does this make sense to you ?

Oh, here you go *big hug* It happens to us all, sometimes for a reason, sometimes because of let's say the weather. I have some tricks I use against it. But the best is still good friendship :) :) :) :sunny:

I liked this concert in spite of some, hm, technical issues. Viva la Vida was so uplifting, and it is not my favourite, but live yes indeed.. Lost was nice and the Hardest Part :) well Chris alone with his pIano (and a little backing vocal from Will) is what I fall for every time.

Did not sleep much. At least the weather is good for the 3rd day in a row. Yesterday we passed the 25 degrees celsius for the 1st time in August this year. Summer is starting finally ?
