No Cemeteries of London love?
I asked the Oracle as to why no COL in shows. Thought if many of us ask Oracle this question, we might get an in depth answer ? Worth trying...:)

Ask the Oracle on Coldplay.com (Now in session!)
Asked why they didn't play Cemeteries of London in the shows. And also if the accoustic set would be played near my seat in Rotterdam....... Amongst other things.

^ worms ? Asked them if Chris will take (african) dance classes to help him with the shows. Might help him coordinate singing, dancing, breathing, AND not getting too tired too soon. And still allow wild interpretations of moves!

No Cemeteries of London love?
Well, the obvious is 42 is in the shows, uplifting and with a "message" - so I stick with the idea they want to stay in "positive" balance of moods. They always manage to make a sad song uplifting - so I'm still wondering , how could COL fit in the current setlist.. Maybe they'll play it in London. Where the witches are.

Just saw the video on tele.
Well I read in 2 different reviews that it was shot on the beach in Holland (probably when over here for gig in Paradiso). If I remember the weather was good yet loads of wind and waves.

No Cemeteries of London love?
Well I have been wondering too since I 'm of the ones who'd would die to see it live. (and go to heaven of course, unless I hang around London for a bit) Very visual song (the boy's own comment) so much so that I would not want a video of it, might spoil it. When I lived in London (way back) in a squat on Turnpike Lane, I would regularly find myself between night and dawn on the streets of London. When I heard COL 20 years later instantly this picture of a (haunted) cemetery came back in a flash. I couldn't say which one, East ?, I seem to remember a big gaz round building, you know, in a deserted area. Not so sure. The cemetery itself was all black silhouettes of trees and sculptures, with a fog faintly glowing white blue in the background. I walked more slowly along the victorian iron fence, and in the state I was in, had a feeling I was welcome to walk in, yet didn't for fear of disturbing the misty ones in there with my own tormented soul. Is this too personnal ? It maybe a touchy subject for the guys too. Doing Yes was already a bit of challenge maybe with COL it would make it too "heavy"? sex AND death this way maybe too obvious, not subtle enough for them in concert. The thing is, when they come to Rotterdam, I would not want to see Yes swapped for COL though. I could handle both to tell you the truth. and Rush of btth. for the darker section.:) And then of course go hopping with Lost, crying with Yellow, flying with LIJ yelling with Politik dreaming with Daylight uh.. I stop here.

18-Jul-08: San Jose - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos [ORIGINAL DATE 7/24]
Thanks Chrisedge, I guess I have to make some space on this 4GB slow non genuine thing that looks like a comp. :shocked2: The girl is low tech :smug: Will shove stuff onto the mp3 player (of course not a Ipod) temporarily to allow space (its a 4GB too and Coldplay's 5 albums + a few others hardly add up to 1,5, so at least dont have to delete) Definitely dont want to miss out on Concertkid's chef d'oeuvre, knowing that : A) Yellow looked so good with fun intro and all B) I have got such a bad seat for Rotterdam that, unless a miracle, I wont see their inspiring, graceful, expressive, handsom faces any closer than on a good video. Thanx for the help.:)
