That's awesomely kind of you, but I'm hoping it will turn up. ;) In any case, half my problem is I want mine, as in the one I was handed at the gate. My friend gave me his--I'm sure I'll be able to eBay him a copy in the next couple months of concerts if he really wants one (which he doesn't compared to the coldplayers on the I NEED SPARE list!! ;)) Post-concert depression has turned me into a grump. I live a block from a major university, and there's some sort of concert going on today. An hour ago I heard the soundcheck ("ONE TWO THREE... TESTING ONE TWO THREE") and now they're rocking. I'm having so much withdrawal I'm at once considering going over there to join in and at the same time bitterly fighting the urge to put in earplugs. :\ meh.

Side story because it was interesting... on our way to the car, I realized one of the drunk guys was talking to my friend, saying "c'mon man, I'll give you $20 right now for it!" I naturally assumed he wanted his LRLRL to sell online, so annoyed, I said 'They'll already be selling for less than that within the week on eBay." But the guy seemed happy about that. "Really?" That's when my friend informed me the guy was making an offer to buy his fedora. :D And now a rant because I have to get this out. I put my own LRLRL in my Program and set it in the car. I don't know at what point it slipped out but it wasn't there when we got home. I was frantic. My friend gave me his, assuring me the other one would turn up, but I don't know. I'm worried now it slipped out when we were being herded back to the parking lot. :\ And I'm just sick about that. Here I am, the collecter of over 45 Coldplay CDs, been waiting to grab my very own LRLRL since they first announced it, and I LOST my copy. I'm so angry at myself, I can't even say. :( *sigh* It's enough to make me want to keep my St. Louis tickets, just so I can grab a new one for my friend!

Aw, well thanks! :) You wouldn't have seen me in line because I didn't make it there until Snow Patrol had already started. :\ The last 5 minutes of the trip (according to my GPS unit) took us 90 minutes. It was agony. The friend I had with me had to hold my hand to keep me from bursting out of the car and RUNNING. We were so close we could see the parking lot, and watched it get slowly closer for an hour. The longest hour of my LIFE. The net was fun. The security guy didn't bat an eye at it, either. :) I was kind of hoping to set a trend, but it might have annoyed the people behind me. Or maybe just amused them. :D Especially given there were NO butterflies overhead our section during LiJ! And I was waving it with such frustration! Though we did go to the Indy Zoo the next morning and this little guy landed right next to me and posed for a couple minutes: I was like, "sure, NOW the butterflies come to me!" :D

Does anyone have a list of the songs Snow Patrol performed? I'm just curious since I only got there in time to hear the last. :\

-1 days. *sigh* :( It was FANTASTIC but I am feeling a bit sad and drained now that it's over. Maybe I just need a nap. ;)

My 500th post! :D I am EXHAUSTED. We did the Indianapolis zoo this morning before heading home and I am grouchy and in serious need of a nap, but here's some photos before I get some shut-eye. :D Unfortunately, my camera wasn't good enough to get decent photos at our distance... That's as good as it gets. :\ I'm just grateful I got it in. They didn't even bat an eye at my butterfly net or camera. And hey, at least we had some CP'ers in the pit that I'll be able to steal some photos from. :D We got caught in traffic, unfortunately, and I completely missed Snow Patrol except for their last song. Absolutely sick with regret over that. :\ I did get a couple compliments on my net, but once again when it came time for LIJ the breeze blew the butterflies just out of reach! I was waving my net in the air and someone must have noticed my agony because this hero came out of nowhere behind me with three in his hand for me! :D After the show I had to go scavenge the aisles after to get some more, though! It's a pretty decent stash: I wrote the setlist on my arm. :) Right before The Hardest Part, Chris was talking (in his adorable waxing apologetic way) and I was so enamored I was desperately tugging on my necklace: ... and I suddenly felt beads rolling down my arm! I'd pulled the string right out and all the beads went plinking to the ground! Just the inner strand though, so I can still wear it. ;) This was pretty cool, and I wish I had a better picture of it... Whoever was in charge of filming did a really good job. :) They used the moon a couple of times! And of course I grabbed one of these. ^_^

Whew! Good news, because I'm going to likely be late, and I didn't want to miss Snow Patrol. Uh oh, 499. Time to stop posting! : X

My random CP thought is I need to make a couple more posts tonight so my 500th post can be full of concert photos on Saturday. :3 Okay wait, I'm sure I can think of something... Oh, I know! :( My friend is driving us to the concert and he has no CD player in his car so we'll have to listen to the RADIO instead of Coldplay. *sigh* He's too 'cool' to listen to the band he's going to see on the way there, though. He's even wearing a Weezer shirt to the concert because he's so cool. :p

Yep, a "technical glitch" We get Howling Bells and Snow Patrol. :) (and Coldplay) Anyone have any advice on how I can get some sleep tonight? :confused:

I was hoping for my 500th post on the 500th page of my favorite thread, but it looks like I'm just BARELY going to miss that. Oh well! One day, 10 hours and 14 minutes! :D

For awhile I felt it was overplayed and I was almost tired of it, but after listening to it on LRLRL in anticipation of Friday's concert... ...today, it is Viva La Vida. :D VIVA

(Your 1,500 should be celebrated, too! One more!) They'd better let me bring in my camera now! : D If not I'll at least have my friend take a picture of me in my shirt with my net in the parking lot looking sad about putting my camera back in the car. ;)
