Woah! I was just watching PBS and they had a promo asking for memberships and it was set to "The World Turned Upside Down!" It was a really long spot and they used most of the song, and showed clips from various programming that fit the lyrics... like dancers spinning during "365 degrees" and a coast guard members rescuing people in a flooded city during "A little boy lost in a breaking storm." Has anyone else seen the spot? I can't find it on youtube or on pbs's site. It was really, really cool. :)

Do my twice-daily searches on eBay.com for "coldplay" -- "recently added" count? ;) Soon I won't have to anymore, though. All I have left is the red Lost! promo with Lost+ and Lost@ and the white Talk promo and I'm done. :o

:sunny: Sleeping Sun. To help my brother get through the winter I burned him a mixed CD of 17 songs with "Sun" in the title. I didn't include Ladder to the Sun because he'd make fun of me if there were more than one Coldplay songs on the disc, hehe. :sunny:

I got a bracelet compliment yesterday! I've been wearing them since November and it's the FIRST time someone has said "I like your bracelets" instead of "WHY U WEARIN SO MANY BRACELETS?" :p So, I was very appreciative of the compliment. :)

Fwee I actually had a Coldplay dream last night! I'm at the concert and am sitting right next to C-stage during the part where they come back into the audience. After the acoustic songs, the boys are leaving and Will drops a rolled-up belt out of his pocket (why that of all things?) and I pick it up and yell, "Will! You dropped your belt!" and he turns and takes it and says "Thank you! :)" And that was about it.

Uh oh... now I'm gonna feel guilty when I beat you. ; ) My X&Y promos are here!! How cool are these? There's a solid-white one for Talk, too, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Apologies in advance if this has been done before--I did a search and didn't find anything. What Coldplay song(s) did you initially misinterpret? I am going to go ahead and admit that for the longest time, before I really became a fan and was just singing along to the radio, I thought the Yellow lyrics were "Your skin... oh yeah your skin unfolds." :\ I thought it was a metaphor! Like caterpillar to butterfly... "turn into something beautiful" like a butterfly! :sigh: Better than my friend, though, who thought Chris Martin was saying "I'm stealing... oh yeah I'm stealing forks." :shocked2: Anyone else willing to admit mishearing lyrics? ;)
