Oh, I almost forgot a random Coldplay thought I had last night. Well not really a thought. I was listening to my iPod in bed and I discovered a fun new game while watching the Lovers in Japan video. I call it "Spin the iPod to Keep Chris Rightside-Up"! :D Try it; it's fun!

1. Fix You - will always be my favorite. Made me fall in love with Coldplay to begin with. It's kinda sad but so uplifting at the same time 2. Glass of Water - because it's awesome, and because I still feel the rush of adrenaline I first got when, to my complete surprise and delight, they started playing it at the Kansas City show. First performance of Glass of Water in North America! 3. Shiver - sound-wise because of the way the two guitars kind of play with eachother. I also kind of relate to the lyrics. I have multiple versions of Shiver but it's the one song I never, never skip when it comes up on shuffle. edit: oh wait, I can have 4? 4! Idiot! Because it was the first non-album non-B-side song I ever 'found' online, and it was like finding buried treasure, and I think that moment and realization of 'there's more out there to find!' sort of sparked my obsession.

Does anyone else have a 'work out' playlist on their iPod and if so, what Coldplay songs are on it? :) (You can't exactly exercise to The Scientist...)

That is very very cute. :) My mom too, called just now and said, "I saw Coldplay on 60 minutes last night--" and went on to tell me how she couldn't decide if she should call me, because either I knew they were on and she might interrupt, or maybe I didn't know! Of course, I did. But she also said Chris seemed "very nice" and I said "yes, yes he is." ;) btw, time for some new underpants there if you were being literal. I loved the fact that Chris said "underpants" in the video instead of "underwear." For some reason "underpants" is 800% as funny. Why is that?

He didn't know. I just got an email from him and he's giving me a refund. I think what happened is it was part of this huge collection of things he's selling on eBay. He had no idea the 'real' Safety EP was worth so much and just put it up there along with the dozen or so others that were for sale the same day. He was probably a bit baffled when it went for so much. ;) But hey, it ended well, and I'm glad I took the chance. Would have been one hell of a steal. I think I can get on with my life now. :D

I'd definitely remove all the echoing wind / voices stuff from the background of Easy to Please and replace it with... I don't know, maybe some gentle bass, maybe nothing. The wind and voices drive me CRAZY!

eBay... Though the price was relatively low. The other bidders were smarter and more cautious than I. ;) In all honesty though I don't think the guy realized it was a fake when he sold it. I've sent him these photos and the one from the Coldplaying gallery to show him what the disc is supposed to look like. Just waiting for a reply now, and hopefully there will be an easy resolution. :\

I just bought this guitar for myself on Wednesday and have started learning some of the basic chords on my own. THIS has been an extremely useful site for learning the chords. I have a couple sheets of basic chords, which I plug into the site. That way I can listen to the chord first and hear if I am playing it right. It's interactive! :D
