I agree... that picture may be my favorite pic of Chris EVER. the eyes, the hair, the rings and his gorgeous fingers. OMG. And I'm gonna go write now too hehe. I have a character who has been inspired by Chris, named Elisha August and I'm gonna go write about him. NOW. *runs*

thank you so very very very much for all of the wonderful welcomes! And old Hampshire... lol! So true... we Americans have really been on a "new" kick for quite some time haha. I'm on chapter eleven of my book now, and three of those chapters have been written since I joined over here... something good in the air! :laugh3: Really though, what a lovely board and fabulous site and great news about the upcoming EP!!! :D I can't wait to get it in at the store I work at... if my coworkers will allow me (they've gotten rather worn out on Coldplay hehe), I'll play it lots!

It was the song actually, admittedly, that made me fall in love with Coldplay. I was at the gym with headphones on and usually listen to my mp3 player but that day, for some reason, I was listening to the TV thing over the headphones. I was working away and sweating my butt off and suddenly this... this... this musical poetry filled my ears, bells and this amazing voice and this "ohhh ohhh ohhh ohhh" and I snapped my head looking up at the TV and there were these people bathed in colors and lights and spirits and it was so beautiful that I nearly stopped exersizing! And YES! YES!!! I had goosebumps all over my arms. As soon as I got home, I looked up this song, this- this Viva La Vida thing! And it said it was from an upcoming album... so I forgot about it for a little while and then not long after was at the gym and heard it again. This time I was in love and completely determined. I work at a music store, so not long after that we got an advanced copy to listen to in the store and I nearly wore it out. And the day it was officially released, I bought my copy gladly... and to this day, just listening to Viva La Vida gives me chills again and brings back a lot of very, very happy memories of discovering some of the most amazing and inspiring music I've heard in ages!!! :D

Everytime I hear this song I get chills... the lyrics are beautiful, just BEAUTIFUL. And I love the "la la la" sound... ahhhh, sooo good. And my favorite line in the song is, "there are ghosttowns in the ocean".... WOW! And yes... that ending... Sooooooo brilliant. Just right... and just beautiful, and shiver-worthy.

Oooh he is just so interesting... and I even LOVE the clothes they've been wearing for this tour... love all of the color and military stitching and such... mmmm. And Chris has such GORGEOUS eyes!!!

And the photos are sooooo good for inspiration for my story hehe. My siggie is a thing I made for my Chris character, who is named Elisha August. He seems like a bad guy for the first couple chapters but he's not nearly as bad as he thinks he is hehe. He gets sweeter as the book goes... Hello everyone.. my name is Kendra Saunders and the initial strains of Viva La Vida drew me into a beautiful, magical and exciting quest of discovering Coldplay, back before their most recent album came out. Working in a music store, I got to listen to the CD a few weeks before it came out... and basically didn't stop listening to it after that... except for when I listened to their older albums. I worked backwards through their albums, going to X&Y next, then Rush of Blood to the Head and most recently, Parachutes. WOW. WOW! I'm an author (even though right now I make my 'living' from the music store), and Coldplay/Chris Martin has inspired me in huge ways... I'm working on a book right now with a character that Chris inspired... Just can't help it!! So hello... and it's lovely to meet all of you!!!!
