ooooh I LOVE that one! I have watched the Lost! video about a million times lol. I just love it... and it's my best friend's song, and whenever I hear it, I think of her. I miss her so it makes me feel like she's with me! I might be seeing her next week though, yay... and this just made me happy because of that. :D THANK YOU! :D

bertuzzi, that is GORGEOUS! I love the black and white...i really like photographs and I like when people add that something to make them pop. This one really pops... very nice! :D And it makes me think of my character, Elisha, whom I should be writing about right now... *opens word document*

I agree! Never mind him calling that other guy's hair "heroic" lol... I thought Chris' hair fantastic! I have to admit I love the curls... I don't usually like curls on guys too much but his are fantastic like that. Of course, i also love the hair from Live 8 and stuff, like the one on last page. :D the short curls. Fantastic. :D

When I first heard Viva La Vida on the apple commercial, I had a dream about a man (Chris Martin) who was attending a funeral for someone and was furious because the person being buried wasn't who he wanted it to be. And he was annoyed because he wanted his father to die. It was fall and quite chilly and he was wearing a jacket and a scarf and had his hands in his pockets and finally just rolled his eyes and left the funeral, because he had really only wandered up to it. (He'd done this at several funerals lately, just sort of wandered over and stood around and wished it was his father he was getting rid of) When i woke up, being an author and all, I wanted immediately to write this book. It became the opening scene of my novel, Inanimate Objects and Chris and Coldplay have continued to inspire me in every way since. :D And don't worry... the character isn't as bad as he sounds at all! He has good reason to wish his father was gone... and he's got a big soft spot that he needs to get back in touch with.

I checked last time I was there in our advanced CD release thing and didn't see anything about it. I'm assuming the only thing I'll find ANYWAY will be the reissued Viva La Vida with bonus contact... since they aren't releasing a hard copy independent EP? Or are they? in any case, I'm soooo excited. November is going to be a brilliant month. :D Also, one of my other favorite musical artists, Enya, has just surprised everyone by announcing a brand new album coming out November 11th. Oooooh November is like Christmas presents early! :D

actually, I LOVE the uniforms. I think artists who are really into their art, live it in real life. Johnny Depp does it all the time with his characters... David Bowie did it too. I like it. i think Coldplay stands out as something very cool with the jackets and clothes.... they don't at all seem to be putting it on (as a stage thing) but rather living their art. I like that a lot... but then, I'm the weird author who sometimes ends up carrying things around that reflect my characters lol. I think the historical vibe is sexy but then, maybe I watch too many period movies. I remember seeing the Illusionist with Ed Norton in period costume and thinking he looked better than ever. gah. Jackets...

I am soooo excited about this and that was awesome of Chris to write up a real letter! :D I'm an assisant manager at a music store and have databases that I can look stuff up in... you can bet when I work on Sunday that I'll be checking our comps for info!!! As soon as I find ANYTHING out I'll let everyone know!!! Sometimes we get to see things early. (I got to listen to Viva La Viva about three weeks before it came out because my store got a promo copy! :D)

oooh that's cool! I have been wearing some multicolored plastic bracelets because i was inspired by their color but that is awesome! :D Mostly, though, for something Coldplay inspired, I wear my jacket. sometime I should upload a pic of it... I've been making it and adding to it myself for quite some time with phrases, buttons, pieces of fabric, etc. I love that someone else was inspired by Coldplay's amazingly cool sense of jewelry style :D but then... I'm a jewelry JUNKIE hehe

I've been craving a lot of color in the last few weeks, maybe because fall is coming on and it's always so vibrant here in the northeast!
