yeah, i agree with you ;) as long as they love music, they can always get back to it - even if they release an album every 5 years.

and what i hate most is that people keep comparing Chris to Bono. I wish they'd stop. Because Bono is so full of himself it just repels people from his music. And Chris is just a normal guy. He is more spontaneous and has a lot inspiration to hold for a successful band for years and years to come!

The reason why their music is so good is that it comes from the heart. He said it himself once something like this - "We may not be the greatest musicians, we are not that good musicians, but we are just 4 guys who love music above all and that's what makes us go on and create good songs." I think this is more than enough. Sure,there are more talented musicians,singers etc. But it's not heartfelt music... ;) So shut up Chris! lol

Ok either 2 reasons for this: -Chris wants attention or -He laks self-confidence Either way, I wish he'd stop saying stuff like this. Cause they are really just getting better and better. And f*** U2 and Green Day. Just be yourselves, Coldplay!

and you know what i hate even more?! your seat/position in the concert is determined by how much money you have, not how big of a fan you are! so what is that? the richer, the bigger fan? that's for all concerts,not just coldplay. and i don't understand HOW someone can be dead for viva la vida, i SHIVER to the THOUGHT of being there, and when I was it felt UNREAL, such a great atmosphere... I mean, my mum jumps around when she hears this song. What else can I say? It is , hands down, one of the best songs ever, and maybe even the best song of this SHITTY for music decade.

X&Y is a very good album. And God such an awesome song. Reign Of Love is a beautiful ballad, its supposed simplicity grows into such complex and dreamy emotions that I can't say no to. And Chinese Sleep Chant IMO is overrated...

The guys are CRAZY to have kicked out the heaviest song on the album ! And God that extension...perfect! So bring it back, and come back to Europe!
