I saw Melissa Auf Der Maur last week (former bassist in Hole and Smashing Pumpkins). It was amazing, I talked with her when she was on stage and she also gave me her pick after the last song. She is one of my biggest influences on my own bassplaying so that felt pretty awesome :) Edit: I wanted to see Rush next year but nobody seems to like them :( I've heard that the shows are about 3,5h so I just don't want to sit there alone + the tickets were expensive.

Seems like you all had a great time. I wish I could've been there as well but my wallet said no :/ Anyway, I would never take the risk to sing a Coldplaysong on karaoke (unless I'm drunk) among diehardcoldplayfans. It would be so embarrassing to sing something wrong :embarrassed: Yep, even though I've listened to CP for years, I still don't know the lyrics to a lot of their songs.. (yeah, I know about the scrolling text and all that but the thought still frightens me)

Hi everyone! This sounds like something I just can't miss! I've not read through the whole thread cause it's my mum's birthday today and we're having a big party right now (I simply don't have time at the moment). Anyway, If someone has a ticket to share, I would be very grateful but it's kind of in the last minute so I don't have high expectations. I've listened a lot to A Triumph For Man the last two days (and it was the first time yesterday actually). I really like "I Should Have Been A Tsin-Tsi (For You)" and "Web" mwahahaha :D I also listened through their 3 latest albums while I played The Sims 2 yesterday. That was nice.
