'Picnic At The Park' - post-concert Coldplayer Meet Up - RUSSELL SQUARE, LONDON (20 SEPT 2009 @ 1PM)
Hi! Buy an Oyster Card when you arrive in London and put some money on it. No matter how much you use the public transport on one day, you never pay more than a day ticket (daily price-cap).When you leave London you can go to a ticket office and get back the deposit for the card and the money that's still on it. It's a credit-card-sized card and with that you touch the sensors at each entrance and exit of the tube, you can use it for some rail services and buses of course too. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tickets/faresandtickets/2930.aspx To get to Stansted: Don't take the Stansted Express but a Terravision bus (a lot cheaper): http://www.terravision.eu/london.html

Have a look at http://www.tfl.gov.uk!! There's a journey planner explaining everything. It's easy: From Wembley Park Station take the Metropolitan Line (purple) towards Aldgate. Change to Piccadilly Line (dark blue) towards Heathrow at King's Cross St.Pancras Underground Station and leave at the next stop: Russell Square!

September 15, 2009 - submitted by Jill, United States of America Q. Hello Oracle. You're great. But enough about you, I'm wondering what inspired William to get a hand tattooed onto his left arm. Could you help me out? Thanks. The Oracle replies: Will's tattoo is inspired by his first-born daughter whose hand print it is!

September 15, 2009 - submitted by Valentina, Denmark Q. Dear Oracle, I am going crazy! Someone in my building area is playing really loud music late in the evening (and it's not even Coldplay!). I am not big and scary so I can't even knock at their door and tell them to shut up! What can I do? The Oracle replies: So if it was Coldplay you wouldn't mind? Only joking... I totally empathize with you Valentina as I have new neighbours and had a similar problem. Maybe you could try what I did? I wrote a note mentioning that the building wasn't very soundproof and politely asked them to consider the residents by keeping noise, after a certain hour, to a minimum and promised I would do the same. That said, it didn't work, so there was a second note after which they definitely improved!

Haha, I believe you!! I love the way (s)he put the sentence: "... knowing when to appear". Unfortunately the intelligent paper butterfly isn't invented yet, but I'm sure the band is working on it  (Let's assume it was the language barrier and that person has never seen a single picture or video of the butterflies...:uhoh:)

September 14, 2009 - submitted by Kim, Netherlands Q. Dear Mr/Ms Oracle Where do all the butterflies during Lovers in Japan come from? Are they in a cage somewhere in the sky let free when the song starts or are they flying there all of the time knowing when to appear? The Oracle replies: Believe it or not, the technical term for the machines that blow the confetti butterflies into the crowd is "blowers"! ... and this is what they look like :)

September 14, 2009 - submitted by Josh, Australia Q. Dear Oracle What are the boys' favourite sports? I notice that the Coldplay puppets were holding a cricket bat, does that mean they like cricket? I'm from Australia, so if you say anything about the ashes... The Oracle replies: Christina from the USA asked what the item the puppets were holding was, so you've answered her here by letting her know it was a miniature cricket bat. They are fans of cricket but that's not why they're holding a bat; the gig was at the Lancashire Cricket ground in Manchester. The band were thrilled the Ashes came home! Oops, sorry! Will and Jonny do love football too... Cricket?? Reminds me of that: Click :)

 Perriiiiiiiiiiine!!! Love love love your review! I didn't have time to follow this thread at the weekend so I'll have to do that some time next week... I only just saw your post and it brought it all back... beautifully written, can't wait for the next part! Hahaah, yes, poor blanket... but it saw Paris before its death  I already told the other one it would go to London, didn't tell it's the final destination though hahah. That was sooo funny!! :laugh3: And I have to repeat that I loved the "Happy Birthday" when the streetlights went off! Not at all surprised!! I can see why he loves them though! That pic is great, thanks for taking it, was one of the craziest moments. It made me laugh so much as well that he held the fog machine in the drummer's face a couple of times! Poor guy couldn't escape him!! :laugh3:
