September 2012 Oops, where did the time go? We must have missed the beginning of the new month while we were enjoying the sun and following the Live Blog from Paris!! "One day the sun will come out"... It took its time this summer! In September we'd like to put the spotlight that is MOTM on Comicforce and Prospector. The banners they create for our website are very much appreciated and show both their talent and commitment to the fan community. Thank you!

My first impression was that I liked the beat a lot but that Matt's voice doesn't fit at all. Esp. the way he's singing and breathing. And the Queen + Para-Para-Paradise similarities of course. But it's instantly stuck in your head and yes, it's a grower! I also like the lyrics like some of you have pointed out already. To the expensive box set stuff: I don't see the point in buying those. The album (ok, and the DVD) are enough! MA-MA-MA-MA-MADNESS! :lol: Looking forward to what the fans will make of it in the LOLZ thread!!

This thread could have happily died down to the 2nd page and become forgotten... It's true that if you want a thread "of your own" you usually go and create one in the Lounge. That place however isn't for Coldplay related stuff so it's fine in here. Like has been pointed out many times now there are already existing threads about each member. Yes. Furthermore I want to use this opportunity to "advertise" for my How to search announcement in Multimedia since it applies to the whole forum! :laugh4: niamh <3 coldplay, I think you (understandably - you're related) got a bit too defensive for your cousin and so you can't avoid that other members want to give their opinion about it. Please acknowledge the input that has been given. Asking others "to stay away / out" is not the solution. I don't think it's necessary to close or remove this thread. But I want to ask you all to remain civil and let the discussions be. There have been "Random Coldplay facts" threads before, if you want to continue adding info to this one, you're welcome to do so, but please stop discussing the value of this particular one. This wish applies to both sides. The thread is there now and if its original intent is valuable enough for many members: it'll stay active. August 2012 It's a new day, it's a new month, it's a new MOTM, and we're feeeeeeling good! This month we'd like to acknowledge the talent and help that Thalia contributes to coldplaying.com. :nice: She's won several of the awards in the past and if you've seen her stunning (and sometimes creepy) avatars and signatures - you know why! Thalia has created the Coldplay photomontages thread almost immediately after joining and is impressing members with her creations ever since. Have a look if you haven't discovered it yet! Furthermore she's helping in the Multimedia section by recording interviews and helping to keep downloads available. Thank you, Thalia!

You can listen to their first album track "Stingin' Belle" on their website!! (Don't listen to the youtube rips, they sound terrible...) There's bagpipes. BAGPIPES. :bomb: :awesome:
